Originally he anticipated we would get close to 2,500 grafts but after the techs dissected the strip doc told me that surprisingly they were able to get 3,000 grafts. They did my crown and also added hair behind my hairline (I had a 1200 fue on the hairline in 2013 to make it straight as I was developing a widows peak at the time. I guess the area behind the fue thinned so doc Bloxham filled it it as well as the crown. I am so tired of wearing a hat already haha. Seems like baby hairs are coming in on the scalp area but nothing yet behind the hairline. Jan 18 will be 2 full months post op. When can I expect hair to start filling in? Between month 4 and 5? How long did you find it took you to see growth from your first procedure? I would imagine that in the next month you should start to see growth starting to begin to kick in. Patience is always the hardest part after surgery. Are you taking finasteride? You've gone to a great surgeon and I look forward to your future updates. All the best! You are still very early. You probably will not see much until at least 3 months. This is probably the toughest period for everyone but it's the process and how it goes. Another thing I've read is that the crown generally takes a bit longer. Actually the attached is an article from Dr. Feller and Dr. Bloxham related to hair popping and growth timelines on avg.
