Senior Member TorontoMan Posted September 22, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted September 22, 2020 After a hair transplant, in the first month patients could expect their new grafted hair to shed and fall out. However, is there ever a risk of the skin below those hairs closing up? Is hair that stays dormant for a while, in this case the shedded hair, able to always grow through skin? Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted September 22, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 22, 2020 Yes, hair that is dormant will always go through the skin. There's no such thing as hair clogs. A lot of old wives tales' talk about clogging hair follicles or not allowing hair follicles to breath. It's all nonsense. I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network. I don't know though, if you don't wash your hair much, or sweat alot and your hair is pretty oily anyway. For all we know the boys put on gobs of Clearasil every night... Bangs (also known as a fringe) are strands or locks of hair that fall over the scalp's front hairline to cover the forehead, usually just above the eyebrows, though can range to various lengths.
