Last hair cut and color before surgery

When can last haircut be done prior to surgery and till when can the hair color be done.

Also, does finasteride needs to be stopped prior to surgery..clinic says not necessary

U can get a haircut day of surgery if you want.

Hello @Loadrunner. It's best to leave your hair needing a haircut when you arrive for surgery. In this situation the doctors have a better overall picture. They will see you with no hair at all in no time.

I’d follow this advice. Def don’t cut hair too short because longer hair is needed to get a good picture to design prior to surgery

 

also, def don’t stop fin if you’re already taking it and have had a good response

In regards to dyeing your hair, you can do that up to two days before the procedure. Depending on how light your hair is, the fresh dye can actually make it easier on the surgeon/technicians to see the hair when extracting.
