How noticeable will the scarring be? 5. How long before signs of growth are visible? 6. Will everyone know? 7. Will the results be permanent? 8. When will I need the next hair transplant? 9. How many technicians are assisting the doctor and how long have they been working at clinic? What parts of the surgery does the doctor perform and what role the technicians play in the surgery? These are just some of the important questions that should be answered before deciding on a doctor/clinic. These are an awful set of questions to ask. You should know these already before going in (except arguably the cost). I would add to these: What will you do with the extra grafts if you cut out too many? (FUT only) Can you show me some examples of your work on patients similar to me? How many grafts do you estimate my donor will yield? Do you think I should FUT or FUE and why? (valid also for clinics that only offer one procedure type, if they are ethical) Who are you going to have your consultation with and where?
