This 31-year-old man underwent a follicular unit extraction (FUE) session with Dr. Carlos K. Wesley in which a total of 2732 grafts were placed.

His hair follicles were incubated in autologous (his own) platelet rich plasma (PRP) throughout the duration of the procedure. This, combined with an ATP-containing storage solution has been shown to enhance survival of transplanted hairs.

Rather than a larger FUE punch used by a robotic approach, Dr. Wesley used a smaller caliber hand-held motorized punch to perform the donor harvest. This approach better enabled the capture of donor hair roots that are slightly curved beneath the skin surface. Upon completion of the harvest, the patient’s donor area was treated with PRP and ACell in order to not only minimize scar tissue formation, but also encourage partial regeneration of donor hair follicles.

The patient returned one year after his procedure and images of the patient can be seen below.

Before shots should MATCH after shots in styling as well. To see cosmetically how the hair looked to the casual observer before/after without a comb lifting the before hair away from scalp.

Good pics though - just would like to see more clinics do apples to apples w/same hair length to same hair length and styling as well.

One of my big pet peeves is hair that is 2-3 months buzzed in before pics and then the after pics are completely grown out.

I realize this is how it works - we grow our hair out after procedures. Usually much longer because we now have more hairs and better cosmetic coverage.

Also, would like to see your pics w/grafts placed and higher resolution and more closeup.

Great work though and lots of microscopically dissected singles in the hairline only- right?

Meaning - you double check all 'singles' via a microscope to ensure it is truly a one-haired follicular unit, right?

Nice work, although to 99% of people completely unnecessary.

That looks like a great after photo but I'm really hoping the graft number that was posted is wrong.

May we see photos of the graft placement?

Seems like 2700 is way too much for where the hair grafts should have been placed. I have seen way less grafts used for the hairline in Hasson and Wong results and Konior results seen here:

I am not a representative of Konior or Hasson and Wong. I am just looking wondering about the hair grafts and the number of grafts
