Bigpapa
Can anyone guide me to the best Doctor in turkey, to get my operation done with. I know Afro carribbean hair is not as straight forward as Caucasian hair. Thanks
Senior Member mikeyhwk Posted April 14, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted April 14, 2017 It's always the same 2 doctors in Turkey. Dr Erdogan and Dr Keser...as to whether they have experience with your hair, that you'll have to ask them during the consult phase. My guess is Erdogan might have more experience as Dr Keser is very selective with his clients and tends to stick to rather straight forward cases but you're best to confirm. You may want to look into the Belgian docs, Bisanga, Lupanzula, and Mwamba, being African Belgian ( no idea the term to use lol ) themselves they could have more potential insight into working with your hair. Price wise, Bisanga and Lupanzula are only marginally higher than Keser.

Senior Member gillenator Posted April 14, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted April 14, 2017 FUE extractions on patients with a tight curl characteristic can be tricky and requires significant skill and proven experience. It is not a question of racial origin or ethnicity but rather hair characteristics. The curl can potentially be more acute under the scalp surface making possible transection during the extraction process more prevalent. Ask the doctor of choice for examples of his FUE patients who have tight curl characteristics and see if the yield and regrowth is good, that's the best sign that transection was low. Talk to these patients and ask them for feedback as well. Gillenator Independent Patient Advocate I am not a physician and not employed by any doctor/clinic. Senior Member hsrp10 Posted April 15, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted April 15, 2017 As we always mention, be careful with Turkey, there are some high risk outfits there. As mentioned above, the ones that produce consistent results and have a solid online reputation are Dr. Erdogan and Dr. Keser. go dense or go home Unbiased advice and opinions based on 25 plus years of researching and actual experience with hair loss, hair restoration via both FUT & FUE, SMP, scalp issues including scalp eczema & seborrheic dermatitis and many others HSRP10's favorite FUT surgeons: *Dr. Konior, *Dr Hasson, Dr. Rahal HSRP10's favorite FUE surgeons: *Dr. Konior, *Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Erdogan, Dr. Couto (*indicates actual experience with doctor)
