Hi everyone,

I just wanted to post my experience so far as I had a HT

On September 19 with Dr. Diep. So far so good. As I am not even two weeks out I'll post the pictures that I do have. And thank you everyone who has share their experience so far.

This is a picture a day of surgery .

Thanks, I will.

It's great that other patients of Dr.Diep post their experiences and their results here.

His results are super consistent and I am hoping to be one of his success stories.

I am about 12 days out and I was wondering if anyone puts any moisturizer or aloe on the recipient area for soothing.

Thanks

Thanks E39, can you offer any advice on things that I will be going through soon.?

I had some numbness in recipient area. Also pain and some burning feelings in donor area. Both went away completely in time. You've been through the tough part already. Everything will get better from here on out. You will shed your grafts, but they'll grow back just be patient. Pics look all good. Normal.

Thanks, it's definitely comforting to talk to someone who's already gone through what you're about to experience. yeah my head still hurts in the donor area when I lay down. Burning feeling is right.

I had to wait six months for an appointment, crazy. And of course once you schedule it ,give your down payment..... you want it as soon as possible, six-month wait was torture. But man I am so happy as hell at the moment.

Wow he must be busier than ever. I'll find out how long the wait is now in a couple weeks.
