Regular Member Kpat131 Posted September 30, 2016 Author Regular Member Share Posted September 30, 2016 Thanks, I will. It's great that other patients of Dr.Diep post their experiences and their results here. His results are super consistent and I am hoping to be one of his success stories. I am about 12 days out and I was wondering if anyone puts any moisturizer or aloe on the recipient area for soothing. Thanks
Senior Member E39 Posted September 30, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted September 30, 2016 I didn't use any aloe. After a week and a half, I went back to work with a loose fitting ballcap. I'll be going in next year hopefully to address my crown.

Senior Member E39 Posted October 1, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted October 1, 2016 Thanks E39, can you offer any advice on things that I will be going through soon.? I had some numbness in recipient area. Also pain and some burning feelings in donor area. Both went away completely in time. You've been through the tough part already. Everything will get better from here on out. You will shed your grafts, but they'll grow back just be patient. Pics look all good. Normal.
Regular Member Kpat131 Posted October 1, 2016 Author Regular Member Share Posted October 1, 2016 Thanks, it's definitely comforting to talk to someone who's already gone through what you're about to experience. yeah my head still hurts in the donor area when I lay down. Burning feeling is right.

Regular Member Kpat131 Posted October 2, 2016 Author Regular Member Share Posted October 2, 2016 I had to wait six months for an appointment, crazy. And of course once you schedule it ,give your down payment..... you want it as soon as possible, six-month wait was torture. But man I am so happy as hell at the moment.
