Senior Member Dr. James DeYarman Posted August 25, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted August 25, 2016 These are the patients results after one year. The procedure really enhanced his appearance. Pt is very happy and would be glad to share his results.
Senior Member ontop Posted August 25, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted August 25, 2016 This is a nice result on different levels, such as the real estate covered & the use of the notorious Artas robot which is not very popular on this site. The patient must have some really above average donor hair to have such a marked difference in his overall appearance. great job Dr. A few questions please, Is the patient on any medications? Have you a break down numbers of what was used in what location/s? What was his diameter of his hair folicals? Sorry for all the questions but last but not least have you any post op pictures showing the newly placed grafts? Again great work Dr I can se why the patient is happy. Senior Member hairthere Posted August 25, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted August 25, 2016 Well executed transplant surgery. Looks like he has plenty of grafts in the tank, too! Senior Member delancey Posted August 25, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted August 25, 2016 Out of curiosity, what kind of yield, on average, are you seeing with the ARTAS robot? How would you compare this with the yield of the FUT procedures that you carry out? I am not a medical professional and my words should not be taken as medical advice. Regular Member akrhair Posted August 25, 2016 Regular Member Share Posted August 25, 2016 Dear Doctor - Nice results. Is it done using ARTAS method? How much will cost for each craft.
Senior Member mahhong Posted August 26, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted August 26, 2016 Significant improvement with a small number of grafts - great result! He looks like he'd easily have another 3 - 4,000 grafts left too, and great hair characteristics to make the most of them if he decides on a second procedure or one day needs further work. Regular Member Bald36 Posted August 27, 2016 Regular Member Share Posted August 27, 2016 It is surprising what only 1800 grafts did. Most clinics would have recommended double that.
Senior Member Dr. James DeYarman Posted September 14, 2016 Author Senior Member Share Posted September 14, 2016 The hardest transplant is to cover an area with a limited number of grafts and create something that looks normal.
