Senior Member MrMatt Posted December 8, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted December 8, 2015 I'm 20 days post op FUE procedure and the itching in the donor area is very persistent, mostly at night while sleeping. I've tried cortizone, triamcinione, but the only things that seems to help is aloe vera gel. Just wondering, to anyone who has had this procedure, in your individual case: How intense was the itching in your scalp area ? How long did it last ? What did you use that worked the best to relieve the itching ? Thanks
Senior Member Spidey Posted December 8, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted December 8, 2015 My donor area was pretty damn itchy from what I recall.. Took probably about 2 months before it went away... I used aloe like crazy. My 1036 graft FUE with Dr HASSON. https://hassonandwong.com/timeline/fue-hair-transplant-timeline/

Lol Your input gives me a general idea when to expect this terrible side effect to end. Thanks!

Senior Member Petchski Posted December 10, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted December 10, 2015 An anti inflammatory could help with the itch maybe? Aloe vera gel is helpful though, i put mine in the fridge so it's even more cooling when applied. Saline solution helps with it the itch during the first few days post op, not sure sure about day 20 -------------------------------------- My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Feller Dr Feller Jan '09 2000 grafts Dr Lorenzo Dec '15 2222 grafts
