KSL Hair Glasgow, Scotland

Hi all, new to this site but loving all the information. Has anyone used KSL Hair based in Glasgow? I have had a consolation and was impressed with the clinic and the consultant. However they use three different surgeons and depending on when you decide to have your surgery you will get whoever is on that day. Does anyone know the surgeons they use or have any experience with them? I believe one of the surgeons is Dr Mir Malkani who works in the Wimpole Clinic, London. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

You really need to spend at least 6 months researching a hair transplant and all of the surgeons. The reality is that all surgeons are not equal. If they say you will get whoever is in on the day that is a sign to run.

 

Sure we've seen all the footballers go to the Glasgow clinic but the reality is you will have a much higher chance of success with a reputable clinic. And what's more, if it doesn't turn out as well as you'd hope they will stand by their work and fix it for you.

 

Take your time, this is a decision you will have to live with forever. Do your research and you'll soon see you need to look further a field.

 

I booked a procedure with west regent street clinic in Glasgow 7 years ago. They use a guy from the wimple clinic too, Michael may. Came on this forum and changed my mind. Thank god I did!

Thanks for the reply. I've done a fair bit of research and, like most others probably, have found a lot of disappointed people with high expectations. I have decided FUE is for me and price is a major factor on where I eventually decide to go. I understand that the surgeon is very important and whoever I eventually decide to go with will dictate the quality of my results. If u don't mind me asking who did u decide to go with? I don't have the option or desire to travel out with the UK, but surely there are competent surgeons who work here.

Hope you haven't gone ahead & booked with them already, they're not to be trusted!

 

They left my hair worse than it was before the transplant by leaving bald patches without grafts in my hair looks a patchy mess & I'm facing the prospect of spending a fortune again to get it fixed!

 

Hope it goes well if you decide to go ahead with a hair transplant, but I would strongly recommend folks to steer well clear of KSL hair & look elsewhere.

I have used KSL Glasgow , what a disaster. Their website and supporting documentation reads like a dream when the reality is a NIGHTMARE. I was left with scabs which got infected and very little take up which was in patch's. Their sales pitch is great and tell you what you want to hear and even offer cheap finance, its all lies to get your money. Enter "KSL" in the search facility on the wider forum and you will see plenty of KSL customers complaining , some are taking court action. Spread the word here , NEVER use KSL Glasgow

If anyone is considering KSL for hair transplant I would think again. They are cowboys, steal your money and leave you with little or no improvement. Actually they're made my hair worse, I have lost a lot of hair. They threw extracted hair in the bin after the receptionist, yes you read right, the receptionist was implanting them!

 

I am trying to get a group of people together to take these cowboys to court. If not I will be contacting the daily record to give them my full story!

 

Their employees are either brainwashed or in on the scam! Their customer service is shit and feed you utter crap to keep you off their back! It's ok though they will fix your mess of a transplant for free! The transplant that they gave you! Anything but ask for money back because they won't do that. I am suspicions that they are hiding their money in a different account, probably tax dodging. For the record Leigh Griffiths and Anthony Stokes use hair filler because they too are not happy with the work they have done. The testaments on their website are written by KSL not the players themselves.

Sounds like you work for them, asking for proof! I am sharing my experience therefore entitled to do so however i like. This company deserve to be slated, they have a history of not doing this properly and lied to me throughout the process. Therefore, I am letting people know so they don't make the same mistake as I and many others have already.

No I don't work for them and there are plenty of people who can verify that here, you are a newbie coming straight on here to slag off a clinic and give it a bad rep without any evidence, I've seen many positive results for KSL, so back your claims up with proof then your be believed, from my experience it's normally someone like you who works for competitor

There's a theme on this forum. Only certain clinics and surgeons are advertised on here (they like to say recommended). Recommended aka incentivised reviews. Don't dare mention a clinic or surgeon who is not on their list. They will hound you until you reveal every orifice of your body to prove your a real patient, all the while these senior/expert/guru members have professional roles as patient advocates for clinics and surgeons. Whenever they see a positive comment about another surgeon they get offended, most likely because they will lose referral fees (from the how did you hear about us section on consultation/consent forms) if patients choosing other clinics.

 

Don't know a great deal about KSL but if dozens of celebs are going to them then they can't be that bad. Even if I had a different clinic or surgeon, I wouldn't bad mouth someone or a clinic especially if I never had contact with them. Its second nature to do so on here by the experts.

Lol@ Z list. KSL do manage to attract some 'never heard of them' celebs. Having said that Jake Quickenden and Mike Hussini's hair looks v.good. Surgeon did a good job. People should give an honest opinion.

 

My point was some people on this forum just criticise a clinic and surgeons work just because it didn't look like there's. One specialist/guru dissed my operation yet when I saw pictures of his operation, it was awful. His second operation, claimed to have 4000 grafts implanted yet no more than 100 came through 8months post op but he still feels he can criticise other clinics and surgeons.

 

I wish people could just provide honest opinions and let people choose. The industry is so well established people have enough information to help them decide where to go. I went to a less famous/well known clinic (British Hair Clinic) according to experts on here yet they did a great job for me. Surgeons were brilliant.
