Cleveland44
Hi guys, first post here. I have narrowed down my choices to Dr. Edmond Griffin in Atlanta, Dr. John Deip in San Fran, Dr. Bradley Wolf in Cincinnati, or Dr. Michael Beener in New York. I just went based off their photo's and how successful they look for a Norwood 6. I have a budget of 20K for a hair transplant and just need pointed in the right direction. Senior Member Shadow of the EMpire State Posted October 26, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted October 26, 2014 Respectfully, if you're a Norwood 6, you shouldn't get a transplant.
Senior Member Cant decide Posted October 26, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted October 26, 2014 Respectfully, if you're a Norwood 6, you shouldn't get a transplant. Not entirely accurate. A NW 6 can get a good result provided their expectations are in check, they have a good donor supply, and a good doc. I agree that many a NW 6 should skip the HT route but many can be restored pretty well. I was a NW 6 for what its worth. Senior Member Sean Posted November 29, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted November 29, 2014 did you take a look at Dr. Umar? he has framed faces nicely on high level norwood cases.
Senior Member PupDaddy Posted November 30, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted November 30, 2014 For your particular situation and stated desires, I'd say that Dr. Diep is a good fit. He isn't shy about relatively aggressive facial framing for higher Norwoods, and his work is generally solid, sometimes exceptional.
