Interesting case, Dr. Doganay: half scalp grafts, half beard grafts.

 

Did you implant all beard grafts in one area and all the scalp grafts in another area, or did you intermix them? Some other layout?

nice work. why are you not utilizing chest hair? are you not getting good results with it? that has always seemed to be a favorite location for BHT doctors to take from as well as the beard of course.

Very nice result Dr. Doganay, congratulations. Is the patient using Finasteride? Are the beard extractions done manually or using micromotor?

Great FUE work Dr. Doganay. I really like how the grafts distributed in order to give a better coverage. The usage of Beard hair really helps especially in the crown area due to the thickness of the grafts.

 

Based on what I know from my last phone call to the clinic is that all beard grafts are extracted manually by a professional nurse while the scalp grafts are extracted by motor most likely SAFE system. If I'm wrong then please correct me.

@Dear mitchellthesuper, Yes. neither transplanted beard grafts nor scalp grafts don't fall after a transplantation.

 

@ Dear BUSA, we can use both beard and chest grafts, but chest grafts should be thick and strong for a transplantation.

The usage of Beard hair really helps especially in the crown area due to the thickness of the grafts.

they don't stay that thick. they end up takn on the characteristics of the other head hair.

Thanks for your comments and questions. We can use both manual and micro motor to extract the grafts. However, since we use the micro motor in a low speed, we don't see any difference between these two methods. We used micro motor for beard extraction of this case.

The body hairs adjust themselves on the transplanted area over time and takes the characteristics of the head hairs as BUSA mentioned. However, the donor areas should be strong enough for a hair transplantation.
