  1. It's been a little over 1 year since I got my ht with Dr. Erdogan. Pictures were taken at 1 year mark. I am very pleased with the outcome, given the circumstances of my repair. At least I have a more regular coverage and don't have to worry about my hair all the time as before. Pictures were taken trying to mimic doctor's pre-surgery photo angles using a flash from about 1 meter on a tripod and were sent to the doctor for follow up. My hair seems to have gotten darker for some reason, maybe less exposure to the sun, etc.
  2. I am sure this will turn out great. You chose one of the best Docs. out there, Megasesh. Looks amazing as their usual work. Happy growing
  3. The lighting conditions are the same, but I used a flash in these pictures.
  4. It is probably time to have my first haircut after surgery. Crown is slowly filling in. Different lighting conditions affect people's perception of fullness.
  5. Hey Yaniv, it's looking great! Donor has healed well and there is barely any trace you had a HT. Of course it will fill in over time, but looking great.
  6. Hey Hairsearch21, thanks for writing. How are you? The scar is less visible with the micro pigmentation that was done, but certainly much better and ok with longer hair. It's a temporary treatment that may last for 2 years. I will see what to do in the future, but for now, it's not my major concern and I even forget about it. I was also surprised when Dr. Erdogan said he could get 4000#. I had 3000 quoted and Dr. Bisanga mentioned max 1000. When I left surgery Dilek, his first assistant said perhaps she could take extra 1000 in the future and the Dr. confirmed as a possibility. We'll see. I hope in a long run that my donor will look ok. I thing Dr. Erdogan is responsible enough to judge by his experience. Please don't hesitate to write if you need any extra info. Regards
  7. Hi David, thanks for sharing your experience. Best of luck and looking forward to seeing your progress.
  8. Thanks David. It's probably better to save my money. BTW, how can I compose a footnote so it displays on my forum messages? Thanks!

  10. Just wondering if anyone heard or had any experience with this product. Just learned about it and will start my research before buying what might just be another scam.
  11. Thanks for you comment, Hairsearch. I feel like it's getting better for sure. I tried to measure and would say around 12cm. But that varies according to the measured point. Given the fact that Dr. Erdogan draw the recipient areas to calculate density, the frontal and central part of my scalp had 116cm2. So 11X10cm seems possible, perhaps 12X9cm. Hope that makes sense
  12. Seeing some improvement but still anxious to see spaces filling in on the next months to come.
  13. That's indeed a life changing result, for the better. The hairline looks very natural and appropriate. You chose a great clinic. Best of luck UK2015
  14. Ko, not sure if I understood what you mean. Am I not posting both? Or do you want me to post pictures of my donor on previous surgeries?
  15. Hi Darren, I would start by the recommended doctors in Turkey. I personally had surgery with Dr. Koray Erdogan in Istanbul that does manual FUE only. I had a very good experience in his clinic and you can check my story on my thread. Alternatively you can check Dr. Hakan Doganay in Antalya that does motorized FUE and manual upon request. Excellent doctors in Belgium (Feriduni, Bisanga) and in Spain (Lorenzo). Best comes down to personal preferences and goals, but there are several other threads where people express their opinions. Best of luck
  16. Hi Ed, I would consider checking Dr. Erdogan in Istanbul as well. He uses manual extraction only and has a price range not much more expensive than Dr. Hakan. I think Dr. Hakan is a good doctor, but if in doubt, do some extra research on the surgeons mentioned above. Best of luck
  17. It's been a little over 3 months, and so far I am very happy. It looks better live than in the pictures.
  18. It's going well so far. I had surgery 2 1/2 months ago, September 29/30th. My case is a repair, so I am hoping it works out this time around. Here is my thread in case you are interested. Cheers http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/176904-my-4000-grafts-repair-dr-erdogan-%96-september-29th-30th.html
  19. Happy grow Yalfassi, work looks very clean and I am sure you'll have a great result. I also had a great experience at the Clinic and with Dr. Koray. Dilek only worked on my surgery and there were 2 other guys being operated.
