Senior Member Hairtechnician Posted June 30, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted June 30, 2014 This 40 something patient first came to Dr. Keene for a consultation about his hair loss in 2010. She started him on Finasteride to maintain his hair, and a few years later, he decided he wanted to restore his hairline with surgery. Dr. Keene brought forward his hairline, including the temporal area, and restored his temporal points on the sides. These photos are from before, and 8 months post surgery. He is very pleased with his results! Here is the graft break down: 1s) 414 2s) 707 3s) 799 4s) 464 Total Grafts 2384 Total Hairs 6081 I am a medical assistant and hair transplant surgical assistant employed by Dr. Keene Dr. Keene is a member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians
Senior Member Rootz Posted June 30, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted June 30, 2014 As it stands this is not an impressive HT. However at 8 months post he probably will see more improvement in the coming months. The density is currently too low and contrasts with the native hair (temple points in particular). There is no immediate post op pic so it's unclear how exactly the grafts were spent, but I think if the grafts were spent efficiently it should have been possible to get a nicer result. Hopefully he gets a better result in the coming months.
Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted July 1, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted July 1, 2014 Thank you for sharing another example of Dr. Keene's excellent work. I can see why the patient is happy at this stage. David - Former Forum Co-Moderator and Editorial Assistant I am not a medical professional. Senior Member Britanium Posted July 3, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted July 3, 2014 Not the best result - but for 8 months its not the worst either.
Senior Member BaldingBogger Posted July 3, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted July 3, 2014 Can see some improvement in the frontal before and after pic. But overall am struggling to see where over 2,000 grafts have gone . Hopefully more comes in
