Senior Member bonkerstonker Posted January 31, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted January 31, 2014 I've never used a antibiotic cream straight after strip surgery on donor scar but think I'm gonna try it this time so I'm interested in everyone's experience with it was it effective? How long did you use it for? Thanks Bonkerstonker! http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=1977 Update I'm now on 12200 Grafts, hair loss has been a thing of my past for years. Senior Member Janna Posted January 31, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted January 31, 2014 We have all our strip procedure patients apply the antibiotic cream Bacitracin right after their daily shampoo for the first 5 days. We've been doing this technique for years as we feel it's been beneficial in producing better scars. Senior Member Since21 Posted January 31, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted January 31, 2014 I used Neosporin on my donor incision for about a week after my sutures were removed per my surgeon's post-op instructions. I am two-and-a-half months out and my hairstylist couldn't get over how barely detectable my scar was - and that was over a month ago. 3,425 FUT grafts with Dr Raymond Konior - Nov 2013 1,600 FUE grafts with Dr Raymond Konior - Dec 2018
