This 38 year-old Web Developer came to Dr. Rahal because of his thinning hair. He was a Norwood VI, and felt that his hair loss was getting in the way of his life. He received 2733 grafts via FUE, and followed up with the clinic one year from his procedure so that we could document his progress to date. The patient said he feels 10 years younger, and that having the hair restoration was easily the best thing he's ever done for himself; as it has completely restored his confidence. The patient had 647 single grafts, 1116 double grafts, 968 triple grafts, and 2 quads, for a total of 5791 hairs.

Stinger-

I didn't see on the graft placement how many (if any) grafts went into the crown. I will check with Dr. Rahal's office and reply when I find out next week. I'll keep you posted buddy! Thanks for the question....hope you're well!

thx i await ur response. there is definate improvent in crown. so either grafts were placed there, which i doubt because im sure the 2700 grafts were used to restore frontal third, or the patient started meds and is having good improvement in the crown with meds.

Hey Stinger-

As promised, I'm returning to answer the questions to your inquiry. You're correct in your estimation that the 2733 grafts went into the patients frontal scalp, and not any into his crown. I was able to view the patients graft placement, and can confirm this information. The patient is most likely experiencing improvements in his crown from Rogaine/Fin. I hope this helps!

Best,

Mike
