Wow!!! 5800+ grafts? That is a lot of grafts. Were the 2 surgeries back to back....or was there a big gap in between?? I think the patient definitely has a nicer hairline.....and the work looks pretty good. For some reason though (and maybe it's the lighting or photos), his transplanted hair seems to be sorta thin....and not very dense overall?! Again, I may be looking wrong.....and there is no doubt a big improvement!

Thanks for sharing this result Dr. Mohebi. Congratulations to you and the patient!

Agree with the above comments.

Also, what does the numbers mean like hair line 100, corners 100, top 50, crown 90????

Hello Mike,

The patient actually decided to have his second surgery a few years later. So there was a gap in between. His transplanted hair was actually not as thin as it looks, the lighting of the picture isn't very good. Thank you for your comment hope this helped.

I added a picture of the back of the patient's head showing the crown. The miniaturization study is the study that shows how active the person's hair loss is. Anything above 20% means that the person has active hair loss in that area.

You can read more about miniaturization study on our website Hair Loss Evaluation - hair loss - Hair Restoration
