burnley
Hi all. I had a terrible experience at Dr Farjos clinic in Manchester. I waited over two years for treatment and it didn't happen! I put in a complaint to Dr farjo and after two weeks I finally got an email response from Mick, the manager. He blamed me for the length of time taken and stated that he was waiting for me to contact the clinic. He denied stating that he would contact me after a few days, and stated three untruths in his response to my complaint. What he didn't realise was that I recorded our two meetings, so I have proof that I am telling the truth. It seems that Mick has too much power at Dr Farjo's clinic. They are so popular at the Manchester clinic, that they can and do pick and choose the way they treat a person and I am not at all impressed with their customer service.Of course, although I addressed my complaint directly to Dr Farjo, Mick was the person to respond and placed the blame firmly on me! If I was treated this way prior to surgery, then I hate to think what the post operative service would be like.
Senior Member JohnnyDrama Posted June 29, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted June 29, 2013 I waited over two years for treatment and it didn't happen! . What does this bit mean? You've ranted on quite a bit in your post but you've given absolutely no detail whatsoever. Senior Member greatjob Posted June 29, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted June 29, 2013 Yeah I'm a little confused about what problem you're angry about. Did they advise against treatment? Did you have a procedure with them? It sounds like you're definitely unhappy, just not sure what you're unhappy about.
Mick from Farjo
We have not treated this patient nor will be doing so. We are fortunate in being able to choose patients as they choose us after looking at all background information.I am in charge of a large part of our expanding group, have always put patients interests first and admittedly do not always get it right.(Though always strive to do so) It would seem we cannot please all the people all of the time but that is often part of life..I wish him all the best in his quest for hair and if I have done something different than I would have done with a similar patient I apologise. I cannot unfortunately add any more to this topic. Senior Member Nick153452 Posted July 2, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted July 2, 2013 Confusing topic.... Personally, as someone who has had to work with the public directly with my previous job, I wish I had the authority to turn away unruly customers. Now, I'm not saying that is the situation here, but if it is, and Mick did indeed do that, I now have large amount of respect for him for doing what I wish I was able to do. Senior Member TommyLucchese Posted July 2, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted July 2, 2013 Confusing complaint and a confusing reply from Mick. 2,000 grafts FUT Dr. Feller, July 27th 2012. 23 years old at the time. Excellent result. Need crown sorted eventually but concealer works well for now. Propecia and minoxidil since 2010. Fine for 8 years - bad sides after switching to Aindeem in 2018. Switched to topical fin/minox combo from Minoxidil Max in October 2020, along with dermarolling 1x a week. Senior Member Spanker Posted July 3, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted July 3, 2013 Why did the treatment not happen? Also, I wouldn't treat you either is you walked in with a recorder. Who does that? Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted July 3, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted July 3, 2013 MIck, Thanks for taking the time to respond to this baffling thread. burnley, I'm really not sure what your complaint is here. Communication is a two-way street. If you did not feel you were getting the response you deserved, I'm sure a simple phone call could have cleared up the confusion. Mick is here and responding to patient questions virtually every day. David - Former Forum Co-Moderator and Editorial Assistant I am not a medical professional. Senior Member Denny Posted July 3, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted July 3, 2013 I can see the (potential?) patient is angry but can not understand the reasons. Maybe Farjo for some reason did not accept him as a potential patient? An amazing experience (4002 grafts) with Dr. Koray Erdogan (ASMED Clinic).
