emma3 Posted June 5, 2013 Share Posted June 5, 2013 I am trying to choose between two doctors for a transplant, both seem very good. The only difference between the two is that with one you have to come back the next day after the transplant and the other one doesn't require you to come back for 10 days, to have the stitches taken out then. Who are the docs that you are trying to decide between? I strongly suggest you dont pick a doc on the basis of location primarily. Dr. Q may be very good. I just dont know much about him. This may be especially true if you're a local patient and can stop by within the week if anything goes wrong. Remember that all physicians have unique post-operative instructions, and the important thing is following these as closely as possible. Dr. Q is great and recommended by our community. Senior Member TommyLucchese Posted June 7, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted June 7, 2013 Based on my experience and my results at 10 months I'd recommend Dr. Feller all day long. 2,000 grafts FUT Dr. Feller, July 27th 2012. 23 years old at the time. Excellent result. Need crown sorted eventually but concealer works well for now. Propecia and minoxidil since 2010. Fine for 8 years - bad sides after switching to Aindeem in 2018. Switched to topical fin/minox combo from Minoxidil Max in October 2020, along with dermarolling 1x a week.
