Regular Member rahulreddy139 Posted March 16, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted March 16, 2013 I got a transplant on the temple region. The surgeon did not do a good job so the density in the transplanted area is very less. In the future is it possible to get a transplant on the already transplanted area where the density is less? more like a repair surgery ? Thanks

Senior Member Thehairupthere Posted March 16, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted March 16, 2013 Yes most patients need more than one procedure so they transplant around what they did the first time to increase the density. I am a consultant for Dr. True and Dr. Dorin. These opinions are my own. Dr. Glenn Charles
Is the density of the previous hair transplant the only thing you are not happy with or is there a angle and direction issue also? Senior Member sl Posted March 18, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted March 18, 2013 Going over previously transplanted areas is not a problem as such. If there are scarrring or pitting or ridging issues then this will need to taken into account when placing. This doesn't sound the case for you but for some who have repair work this is a possible scenario and not only the lack of density as such. I represent Dr. Bisanga. Dr. Christian Bisanga is recommended on the Hair Transplant Network
