Day 11 (today) pics attached.

Itching is still there across the scar area. I feel numbness near the crown area as if it is still under local anesthesia. Pain is also present across the scar area. It is still difficult to sleep.

I feel nothing wrong in your frontal hair line...No swelling ...looks likes as usual like mine...

BUt i too have shock-loss even now on the 10th day. I am worried when i wll get back my scalp sensitivity.

Apart from that, there is no problems...

Be positive... Ignore the pains... I'm sure one day you'll be glad, when you see your lost hair back...

Tihom, did you have any talk with Dr Radha about how visible the scar would be after the healing. I have heard about this 'trichophytic closure technique' which is supposed to make the donor area scar pencil thin, in which case it will be possible to cut your hair short in future.Does Dr Radha use this technique? This scar issue is something to worry about before going for the FUT/strip surgery.

ronht,

Not only Dr. Radha, now a days so many are performing this technique for closure of scar and thus by reducing the chance of further being expanded, leaving only a relatively a small prominent mark over it. Even though it has been debated who has invented, i can say Dr. Radha had mastered this, long before with Dr.Path.

Everything looks good to me. As you know I am an advocate for Dr Radha. I had a HT with her end of June 2012. (Please see my posts if you are interested).

Yes my scalp felt numb for a while, forget how long but it was a long time, and yes I too looked silly and wished she had shaved my hair even shorter.

Hang in there, get a haircut/shave when possible but be careful of the stitches. In a month you will look normal. Then you will be here complaining that you can't see any results. After 6 - 8 months you should be back on here singing her praises. I say should because everyone is different, there are no guarantees in life.

When I had my surgery with Dr Radha she gave me a few pills to sleep that night and boy could I sleep.

When i went back the next day to have my head washed I asked for some more of those pills. Dr Radha point blank refused to give me any more painkillers When I pressed her on the subject she said "no, you will become addicted. Accept the discomfort, take paracetamol and give it time".

So to all of you wanting extra painkillers, here is a doc who cares about your long term health. If you think that this pain/discomfort is to much to bare, be glad your not a women giving birth. So with regards to the pain, I say, shutup, put-up and move on. If you are not willing to accept any pain/discomfort, go home and stay bald!

Please be aware that my last post is not aimed at Tihom. It is for those of you seeking information with regards to HT.

You WILL feel discomfort. You WILL feel pain. You WILL look weird for a while.

If this is to high a price to pay, then HT is not for you.

Updates:

1. I have switched to my regular shampoo now after 30 days as per Dr. Radha's instructions.

2. Itching is still there all over and is unbearable at times. Applying olive oil makes me feel better.

3. Pain is there at times near the stitches but not much. It is bearable.

4. I am shedding small hair grafts everyday now during the shower and on my pillow while sleeping.

5. I am still shampooing very gently though the doctor had told me I could shampoo like normal. I am just a bit scared. I have started taking shower after 30 days under my rain shower head which is pressurized and stopped using the bucket and mug to take a shower.

6. Numbness of the scalp near the crown area (Shock Loss) is still there and I don't see any improvement in it.

7. I am suffering from major hair fall as well. I don't know why this is happening.

8. The stitches have still not come off completely.

Thanks Tihom for the update. Report says you had a trichophytic closure. Could you please post some pics of the scar/donor area? I think after one month the stitches should have come off.

You say you are suffering from major hair loss. Have you started applying Minoxidil? From the images,it seems not all the scabs have come off from the recipient area.

I will try posting pics of the scar sometime. And I am not using Minoxidil as of now.

Looks good tihom. You still have long way to go yet, have you contacted dr Radha about your hair loss? Thanks for the pics mate

Yes. I have been emailing Dr. Radha all my updates exactly as I post them on the forum. Waiting for her reply.

Pics and Update - 5 August 2013

I am not able to see much difference between my October 2012 pics (before HT) and the current August 2013 pics (as in this post). I am feeing disappointed. The crown area looks the same and so does my hairline and forehead. I am not sure when will the results come but everything looks bleak to me right now. Disappointed :(

I am feeling I took a wrong decision and wrong doctor and wasted my time and money.

I really feel that you are getting some incentive from Dr. Radha for promoting her so much and that too in others thread. I am totally unhappy with my results and I do not care what results you received mate.

Latest Update :

1. My crown area looks really bad even though Dr. Radha had assured me that it would be completely filled and there would be no visible bald patch.

2. I still face irritation / itching on the area where stitches were carried out. My barber also tells me that the area is pretty red. He noticed the same during my last hair cut.

3. Its been 6 months now and I am not sure if any more hair is going to grow or not. Overall I am very disappointed right now considering I had been transplanted with 3594 grafts and 6292 hair.

:(
