i just read a post on Dr. Rahal's website patient blog that ACELL was used on him with a picture of the box it comes in

 

first time i've heard of Rahal using this

 

wonder if it is patient specific

 

anyone?

He got some samples at the ISHRS conference in the Bahamas.

Best avoided i think , fue should heal perfectly well without it mine did

small manual punch .8mm doesnt leave any visible marks without acell being used

Even if the ACell is not used in the donor puncture sites during the FUE procedure it can be used in the graft holding solution. Many doctors feel that this may increase survival rates. However, this has not been proven.

There was so much hype about ACell a few years ago . I guess it's not the revolution in hair growth that was claimed . It seems that so many of these things come and go .
