Regular Member cool525 Posted October 5, 2012 Regular Member Share Posted October 5, 2012 I have had 3k grafts on temples and crown. It has been 9 months and 1 week today. Is this expected progress? Senior Member 1978matt Posted October 6, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted October 6, 2012 Based on what I have seen (and I'm not a doc and never had a HT), it looks about right based on the number of grafts. I think it looks pretty good so far. It can take up to 18 months to see the full result. 4,312 FUT grafts (7,676 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2013 1,145 FUE grafts (3,152 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2018 763 FUE grafts (2,094 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - January 2020 Proscar 1.25mg every 3rd day
Senior Member gobble Posted October 8, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted October 8, 2012 I look at your 9 month pictures and to me you don't really look like a guy who's losing his hair. I guess that points to a good result.
Senior Member orlhair1 Posted October 8, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted October 8, 2012 Looks like you are doing well at 9 months. The temple areas still look slightly thin, but not bad at all. You will probably see some more thickening between now and 12 months (although not likely to be anything dramatic). I definitely had some thickening occur during that time frame from my surgery.
