Senior Member Janna Posted July 27, 2012 Author Senior Member Share Posted July 27, 2012 I'd say he got 100% yield from his procedure at Shapiro Medical plus a very positive effect from Propecia. Senior Member bonkerstonker Posted August 2, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted August 2, 2012 Reasonable with combover again but i bet it's a different story if the wind picks up, having said that it's not a huge amount of grafts. Bonkerstonker! http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=1977 Update I'm now on 12200 Grafts, hair loss has been a thing of my past for years. Senior Member aaron1234 Posted August 2, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted August 2, 2012 Great result for a small amount of grafts for what I assume to be a large area. I love the difference between the 6 month photos and the one year photos. Definite maturation. Senior Member orlhair1 Posted August 5, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted August 5, 2012 Looking really nice, especially considering the extent of his loss and the relatively small number of grafts. Senior Member PupDaddy Posted August 6, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted August 6, 2012 Janna, In this fellow's case, was the relatively small graft count relative to his Norwood scale the product of the patient's budget, his donor characteristics, or longer term planning? Many thanks!
Senior Member Janna Posted August 7, 2012 Author Senior Member Share Posted August 7, 2012 Hi Pupdaddy, The session size had a lot to do with patient's budget. We felt we could give him a significant difference even with his limited budget. He's happy with his decision. Senior Member PupDaddy Posted August 7, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted August 7, 2012 Thanks, Janna. I thought that might be the case. This patient got a lot of bang for the buck at SMG. Nicely done!
