Cost for FUE via ARTAS?

Hey Everyone,

Does anybody have an estimate on cost of FUE via ARTAS? I can't find anything that relates to cost. I hope that doesn't mean it is very expensive. I am in the Los Angeles area if that helps. Thanks.

Moonfresh,

I know Dr. Jim Harris, who is recommended on the Hair Transplant Network is using the ARTAS for some of his hair transplant procedures. The machine itself is ridiculously expensive but I'm not sure how that affects the price for the patient. I suggest contacting him by visiting his recommendation profile to obtain more information.

Best wishes,

Bill

Or contact Dr.Bernstein, he is better than Harris in my opinion, recommended and also using ARTAS system :-)

Thanks Everyone. As I suspected, FUE using ARTAS is going to be a pretty penny. I can't believe no one here has gone this route, yet. I think I will wait a few more years until the costs subsides.

Though I wouldn't want to make any comments about the quality of ARTAS FUE or the practices of those physicians utilizing the tool, but I am fairly certain the machine costs around $100,000 and "passing" a cost like this to patients seems like a logical financial move. Is it worth it? Maybe, I'm not certain. However, I definitely understand (from a financial standpoint), why it would cost more.

No matter what they develop from Motorized tools to robots, its all for the sake of the doctors and reducing their FUE stress by allowing them to extract more grafts in a session and more patients which means more dollars. Manual FUE will always be the pioneer and the best outcome for every HT patients, its just a pain in the *** for the HT surgeon as it requires a lot of work and stamina.

from research, Im led to believe " arty robot " can only recognise certain colour of hair to score the graft , so isnt suitable for everyone , and uses a " whopping 1.3mm diameter punch " !!!!

My concern would be how much donor gets damaged with this ` graft scoring technique `

regards

Dr. Mohebi started using ARTAS earlier this year and at this point, the price per graft for ARTAS FUE is exactly the same as Manual FUE.

I am a patient advocate for Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles, CA. My views/opinions are my own and don't necessarily reflect the opinions of Dr. Mohebi and his staff.

Check out my hair loss website for photos
