Sweating post-op

I'm 2 days out of a FUT surgery. I'm wondering if sweating affects the grafts. Has anyone had experience with this?

I'm not exercising hard, just walking my dog, by my forehead is a little sweaty.

Thanks in advance for your help

It is my understanding that as long as you are following the cleaning regimen set by your doctor, the sweat isn't going to do any damage.....if you are concerned with dislodging them.

The main problem or concern doctors have with exercise post-op is raising your blood pressure too much, which could cause problems.

I wouldn't do anything strenuous at all for at least 7-10 days. I would try and keep my blood pressure and any stress as low as possible. Then the grafts are fully secure. All it takes is bending over wrong and trouble can start.

Sweat itself doesn't hurt the grafts. In fact, I've been told that saline is good for healing.

Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily

Avodart 0.5 mg. daily

Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily

5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily

Biotin 1000 mcg daily

Multi Vitamin daily

Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1? :D
