Senior Member olmert Posted March 23, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted March 23, 2012 I've been to a bunch of doc's, mostly who only do FUT. They have recommended that I get anywhere from 1800 to 4000 grafts. They all say I am between a Norwood 3 and 4. How many grafts do most people get when they are similarly between Norwood 3 and 4 ? Senior Member Sean Posted March 23, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted March 23, 2012 Olmert, some people get estimates by counting 1,000 grafts per norwood level. If you are between a Norwood 3-4, then 3,000 might do the trick and 4,000 will do the trick and give you a denser result. But if your looking for more of a younger looking hairline and higher density, then look at the plus 4000-4500 range. Keep vertex (crown) work also in mind. Senior Member chrisdav Posted March 23, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted March 23, 2012 You got any pics olmert to put up? 2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK. Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired.
