Regular Member rlc26 Posted December 7, 2011 Regular Member Posted December 7, 2011 Just wondering if anyone has any experience with alpecin shampoo?. I've just had a hair transplant and im thinking it may be better to use than normal shampoo.
Senior Member NEWHAIRPLEASE Posted December 7, 2011 Senior Member Posted December 7, 2011 Consult with your Dr and ask him before you do anything! Newhairplease!! Dr Rahal in January 19, 2012:) 4808 FUT grafts- 941 singles, 2809 doubles, 1031 triples, 27 quads My Hairloss Website
Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted December 7, 2011 Senior Member Posted December 7, 2011 rlc26, As NEWHAIRPLEASE has already stated, the best course of action when considering applying any product to a newly transplanted head it to consult your physician. Senior Member HARIRI Posted December 7, 2011 Senior Member Posted December 7, 2011 I'm using this shampoo along with Nizoral. Its really great. I love the smell and its very beneficial because it contains caffeine plus its not sticky so its useful for thin hair. I love the red one (DOUBLE EFFECT) for both hair loss and dandruff. I knew about it from my German workmate and been using it for a whole year now. Regular Member rlc26 Posted December 7, 2011 Author Regular Member Posted December 7, 2011 Thanks chaps, i did ask him and he advised me to give it a few weeks then use it watered down but for now stick to normal shampoo or johsons baby shampoo. Thanks Hariri i have just bought some double effect alpecin and will start using it in a couple of weeks time have you noticed any change after using it?.
Senior Member iwokeuptoabaldpatch Posted December 18, 2011 Senior Member Posted December 18, 2011 totally agree with spex. This year when hair thinning hit me big time i used alpecin to try and counter it. It doesnt do anything. Foolishly since it was the only shampoo i still had in my house post HT, i used it for my first few shampoos....post HT....big mistake.....its just so thick and sludgy what happens is it gets stuck in the recipient area which is already full of scabs and a thick film of skin which u cant rub too hard and the alpecin just clogs things up
Senior Member byron Posted January 1, 2012 Senior Member Posted January 1, 2012 i use nizoral and have done for 4months, wont use anything else
Senior Member MrJobi Posted January 1, 2012 Senior Member Posted January 1, 2012 I liked Revita the best because it contains the active ingredients, volumizes and conditions too! Regular Member TeacherNJ Posted January 2, 2012 Regular Member Posted January 2, 2012 Alpecin and Revita were horrible for me, just use a sulfate free gentle one
Regular Member TeacherNJ Posted January 2, 2012 Regular Member Posted January 2, 2012 No shampoo grows hair and its BS that revita claims it does. wastes people's $$
