d-mo
I have heard great things about both. I am going to vancouver for a consult but have to choose 1 doctor. Anybody have suggestions as to which one is better? thanks.
Senior Member Jotronic Posted October 25, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted October 25, 2011 D-mo, Look through the almost 200 HD videos on our website, pick the ones out that look most like you and your hair loss, and decide from there which one you prefer. You don't actually have to look through each video to pick them out, just look at the thumbnails. Senior Member aaron1234 Posted October 25, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted October 25, 2011 Can't go wrong with either of 'em. Sure, do your research like Joe said. But with H&W you can basically flip a coin and you'll still get a great result. Senior Member ffar Posted October 25, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted October 25, 2011 Well it depends what you want to do. If you need fix your crown or thinning on all your head go to dr Wong, if you need a fix hairline go to dr Hasson. That's just me.

Senior Member chrisdav Posted October 26, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted October 26, 2011 Its a bit like who would you have as your wife Megan Fox or Nicole Scherzinger Both excellent and in the elite group of surgeons globally. 2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK. Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired.
d-mo
Thanks everyone for your response. ffar - I was intrigued by your answer. Can you elaborate a bit - on how you came to your opinion? Thanks D-MO
Senior Member hairthere Posted October 30, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted October 30, 2011 d-mo, Dr. Wong has built a reputation for his artistry in recreating the crown "whorl." IMO, both surgeons deliver excellent work and I'd be comfortable with either. d-mo
interesting that wong would be better than hasson in that regard since neither of the doctors actually places the hair grafts into the incisions. that is done by the technicians which I assume they share. I guess the planning process of the hair transplant and making the incisions into the scalp is a skillful act that some have better than others. Senior Member hairthere Posted October 30, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted October 30, 2011 d-mo, I don't think one specializes in hairlines vs. crowns. I think there were some nice pictures that were posted of crown work Dr. Wong did, and vice versus. In reality either doc will do great work regardless if it's the crown or hairline. Senior Member ffar Posted October 30, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted October 30, 2011 (edited) d-mo. It is just me. I saw a lot a lot of results of a lot of doctors and in my TOP 3 are doctors like Rahal, Wong and Hasson. If i would make a decition to go do a hair transplant(that i am going to do in a 4-5 years unles Andres\histogen\follicia etc is going do miracles) i would go to dr Rahal for hairline and do his crazy density and to Wong for thinning\top of head for density.
