Senior Member kaliber Posted October 25, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted October 25, 2011 (edited) So I was quoted 7300 for a 1500 to 1800 hair transplant to help fill in the recession on the front of my head. I wanted to take a conservative approach and I'm not looking to drastically lower the hairline. This is from a well respected hairloss surgeon in Tampa. Any thoughts? Here are some pictures below. I've been on propecia for about a year and I have pictures posted if you are interested. Also, are there any recommendations on Surgeons in Tampa, the state of Florida, or South Korea as all would be viable locations for me. Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted October 25, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted October 25, 2011 In Tampa we recommend Dr. Paul Rose. For a complete list of all of our recommended doctors worldwide click here. To learn about our criteria for recommending physicians, click here. We do not currently recommend any hair restoration physicians in South Korea. As far as the fee you were quoted, it's in line with average cost for hair restoration in the United States. Dr. Glenn Charles
I also practice in the South Florida area and that price is in line with most of the more reputable clinics. Remember if it is much cheaper you will probably get what you pay for and if it is much more expensive it does not always lead to better results. Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted October 26, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted October 26, 2011 I agree with Dr. Charles' thoughts. I know I post my prices right on the website for all to see. I think a few other clinics do too, but honestly I never get around to looking at their sites. I do hear from patients each week, that I am either alot more expensive than a nearby national chain....or that I'm cheaper than they are. I have no idea why the discrepancy unless its some kind of sales tactic used by their clinic. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA William H.
