Senior Member aaron1234 Posted July 17, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted July 17, 2011 I think you need much much more than a 1000 grafts. Double it at least. Are you open to doing the strip? If you keep your hair at that length then a scar shouldn't be a problem. Look into Farjo. But if you are dead set on FUE consult with Bisanga and/or Devroye. Senior Member aaron1234 Posted July 17, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted July 17, 2011 But again, don't restrict yourself to the Uk, or Europe... look into the great clinics in North America as well. Senior Member aaron1234 Posted July 17, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted July 17, 2011 No prob. No I haven't seen any of his work. If you can't find many patients or threads of a doctors work then I would reconsider going to that doctor. Senior Member corvettester Posted July 17, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted July 17, 2011 I'd say Aaron is spot on. You're looking to get 2,000-2,500 grafts total. You have what appears to be excellent hair characteristics for an HT too. There is Farjo, Feriduni, Devroye and Bisanga all in your neighborhood. I've seen a lot of great things from all four of them... especially Bisanga. I've never heard of Dr. Rogers so I'd make sure to ask around and speak with a good number of his former patients before I'd consider him. Good luck. Senior Member mattj Posted July 18, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted July 18, 2011 About 5 years ago, Dr Rogers seemed like a promising up and comer for the UK, but very few results have ever been posted. He was always very conservative when it came to density. I am a patient and representative of Dr Rahal. Senior Member bonkerstonker Posted July 21, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted July 21, 2011 Dr Rogers held top uk fue surgeon for many years but unfortunately never really proved him self worthy as he is very conservative which is pointless really. Bare in mind my grandma was top fue surgeon in the uk at some point lol Oh forgot to say his scandal prices held him down too as people stopped paying it because they could find world class surgeons for the same price. Bonkerstonker! http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=1977 Update I'm now on 12200 Grafts, hair loss has been a thing of my past for years. Also I don't use minoxidil anymore I lost no hair coming off it. Reduced propecia to 1mg every other day. My surgeons were Dr Hasson x 4, Dr Wong x 2 Norton x1 I started losing my hair at 19 in 1999 I started using propecia and minoxidil in 2000 Had 7 hair transplants over 12200 grafts by way of strip but 700 were Fue From Norton in uk
