Longest Time Before Removing Staples?

What is the longest amount of time that you have heard anyone continuing to have some staples in post-op?

I pose this question because I have a tight scalp (donor scar from ear to ear with 100 staples) and have been advised by my doctor to remove 1/2 at 10 days, 1/4 at 20 days, and 1/4 at 30 days. Will this be a record?

I have 120 staples in now I'm on my 24 th day without removing any I'm going to remove them all at 30 days. I don't notice they're in my head anymore the first 2 weeks are the only days that bothered me really.

Thats unbelievable...Spex, how does the skin not grow over the staples after 30 days?? Or for sure after 9 months?? Also, I can see that helping with the scar but will leaving staples in that long cause any bad side effects?

Yes it's gonna be quite painful removing as they look quite well healed in but all is good in the name of vanity lol. My dad is a right puff as well he'll make it longer by being squeamish ha ha he's the only one who can remove them for me though.
