Senior Member Dr. Michael Beehner Posted February 17, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted February 17, 2011 This 38 y/o male had a single sessions of 1730 FU grafts placed in the front 1 1/2 inches of his hairline to bring it forward and also in both side temple areas. These photos are taken 15 months after the surgery. One more session is planned to accomplish increased density in this region. Recipient sites were made with lateral slit blades with the following widths: 0.8, 0.9, and 1.0 mm in width. All of the "before" photos will be listed together first and then the "after" photos will follow. Included will be photos right after the sites were filled. The dark blue coloration is from methylene blue dye, which clears in 2-3 days and is used for being able to achieve closer sites and to not miss them while placing the grafts. Senior Member RCWest Posted February 18, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted February 18, 2011 In photo 11 it still looks like new hair is sprouting in the hairline. Outstanding temple work! You don't see hairline work down to the ears everyday and this looks as natural as it gets. Senior Member Spanker Posted February 18, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted February 18, 2011 it does look natural, but needs to be more dense....his next proceedure should really set this off. Also, it is a larger area than I would expect for that few grafts. I'm sure Dr. Beehner would have gone more if it were up to him. Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted February 21, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted February 21, 2011 Dr. Beehner, Great hairline! Can you give some background as to why the first session was so small and how many grafts he's planning for the second? Thank you for posting!
