H&W HD Video/Photos - Dr. Wong/3579 Grafts/One Year

This patient came to see Dr. Wong in August, 2009. Dr. Wong and his team transplanted 3579 grafts in one session for the result you see below. Dr. Wong avoided the still full forelock area and transplanted at a higher density on either side of the forelock for a natural blending of transplant and native hair. The mid-scalp received less density due to existing hair with the remainder placed in the crown with a natural enhancement to the whorl pattern.

Graft break down;

Singles...437

Doubles...2466

3&4 Grafts...676

Jotronic,

Thank you for sharing this case with the community. I think the work looks very refined and age appropriate. Furthermore, thank you for explaining Dr. Wong's thought process and the areas of the scalp he decided to treat. I think it helps the community appreciate this result as a whole. Nicely done!

Blake,

Thanks for the comment. I agree it is good to share the approach and I'm going to endeavor to provide more information about how the doctor's thought process dictated the outcome of the procedure.
