Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted December 4, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted December 4, 2010 Community members, Please join me in congratulating hair restoration social community and discussion forum member Smgrl009 on his recent hair transplant procedure with Dr. Mohebi. Smgrl009 was kind enough to upload detailed photographs from his recent 3,500 graft, follicular unit transplantation (FUT) procedure, and I highly recommend reviewing his hair loss weblog and commenting on the excellent work. Regular Member smgrl009 Posted December 4, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted December 4, 2010 Thank you for the warm welcome and setting up this thread HT_Doc. One of the reasons that I actually ended up choosing Dr.Mohebi was because of forums like yours. Initially I was actually considering much cheaper options that popped up from a Google search, e.g. a few doctors in India that charged an average of $2000 for an FUE transplant, but when I saw some of the horror story photos of their patients, I was quickly discouraged from doing so. It's kind of amazing that in 2010, there are still doctors providing their patients with pluggy results that look standard in 1995. As an aside, I am not quite sure where I can actually start a blog on your site. Could someone point me to a link please? Regular Member smgrl009 Posted March 20, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted March 20, 2011 My 3.5 month pics have been added to the album. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.co...009/albums/388 So far I'd say about 50% of the implanted grafts have come to the surface. I'm crossing my fingers for the rest! Right now there are still too many "bald areas" on my right temple, and the fall out shock hairs are slowly starting come back--but there are still areas that are very thin from the fallout shock. @hairthere: This was my first strip procedure. How come you decided for ht hair in that area as well? My hair loss website
