Regular Member feelzgood Posted September 3, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted September 3, 2010 Hello everyone, It has been long time since last time I logged in on this site. Lately I have been lurking this forum ever since hair greed kicked in for me. Or maybe since I realized that perhaps my hair got little thinner on top middle part few months ago. My last (old) update can be found here: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/142197-my-transplant.html I'm very glad to hear that Dr. Rahal started implementing FUE with his clinic. I talked to Adrian last week and things look and sound promising to me. I'm waiting for Dr. Rahal to come to my city (Toronto) so I can have a consultation, and Adrian I hope that you did not forget about me . Today I buzzed my hair to #1 and just an hour ago I took as many photos as I could (without them being blurry) to show my current situation 2+ years after my 4K fue procedure. Most of them are with flash though and I managed to take few without flash without them being blurry. I must admit that direct and close flash makes my hair look 10X worse that it actually is and on some pictures even invisible. First 2 pics with longer hair are taken last week messed up with the purpose to expose my thinning area. They are the same pictures that I sent to Adrian so he can show 'em to Dr. Rahal and asses my situation. I still take 1/4 proscar every day and still apply rogain sometimes once sometimes twice per day. Lately I have noticed a lot more pimple activity all over my body. I figure it's just this crazy heat....but should I go and see dermatologist since it could be proscar/rogaine/hormons related? Here are my pictures:

Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted September 3, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted September 3, 2010 feelzgood, I think your hair look great. Do you feel a second procedure is necessary at this point? 1966kph
hello feelzgood, whilst your hair appears thin when long when its clipped shorter it appears not,do you not intend to keep it short? even when its longer i would say it looks fine and i could definately live with that ammount of hair, you already said this maybe a case of hair greed and that seems to be the case as imo it looks good, whatever you decide all the best with it,have a nice day..... Regular Member feelzgood Posted September 3, 2010 Author Regular Member Share Posted September 3, 2010 ES, Pre op pics: Forum By and for Hair Loss Patients - feelzgood's Album: My transplant - Picture Forum By and for Hair Loss Patients - feelzgood's Album: My transplant - Picture Forum By and for Hair Loss Patients - feelzgood's Album: My transplant - Picture When I posted them first time they were all chronologically aligned but perhaps the new website format made them all scrambled. Dr Armani drew the hairline and did the slits. Techs did extraction and placement. TTP, I'd say it's not 100% necessary but it is definitely something that I would like to address it whilst I still have some money saved before it's gone. Also when my hair is longer that is the only see through area that keeps bugging the hell out of me while in front of the mirror and takes some time and effort to correct the "see-through-ness". 1966, I alternate between short and medium hair all the time. I'm very happy with my short look. I'm also very happy with my mid-short look as well except that one area that needs some touching up of maybe few hundreds of grafts. And then and only that I'll be 100% satisfied with my hair short or longer. That's just my mind I guess. Thanks for best wishes man!
Senior Member mattj Posted September 3, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted September 3, 2010 Wow, that's an impressive transformation. 4000 grafts is a lot, but not for the area covered. I can see why you might have the urge to be greedy (based on the flash pictures which surely make it look thinner than it is) but you must be very happy with the change. Senior Member TC17 Posted September 5, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted September 5, 2010 I have to say, Armani hit this one out of the park. It's extremely hard to see any scarring in the back of your head, even with a buzz cut. Very impressive.

Regular Member hairsprint Posted May 30, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted May 30, 2011 feelzgood - This is too good a result. And, the hairline design looks good on you too. I didn't realize how good the result was until I saw your Pre-HT look. Awesome
Regular Member feelzgood Posted May 31, 2011 Author Regular Member Share Posted May 31, 2011 hey feelzgood, i've send you a pm, great ht by the way Wow you resurrected this thread lol. I thought nobody digs through old threads anymore . Anyway, I read your PM and that's why i'm back on this board again. I do this because I know how big of a burden it is on many peoples mind when it comes to hairloss. Personal experience and I'm still fighting the fight too even today. I stopped using rogaine about 4 months ago and I think it was a mistake!!!! Still using 1/4 proscar every day though. The thinning patch on top middle is getting bigger and more noticeable. Is it because I stopped using rogaine.. donno. Didn't see Rahal yet. Got the appointment with him few months back but missed it... long story. I took some more pics and I also made a 2min video that I just posted on YouTube for all you balding brothers to check out if you wanna. YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=an5u1tNEEpY P.S. How far are we from hair cloning (HM)?????:rolleyes: Pics and video was shot with my Iphone so sorry about so-so quality.

Senior Member azazelgs Posted May 31, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted May 31, 2011 feelzgood, thank you for your ressurection:) I started seriously thinking about a ht , my hairloss is similar and i want to shave my head. How old were you when you had a ht? Do you remember your donor characteristics ? Is 4k grafts in one session? Sorry for the question bomb but i'm still interested in Armani eventhough i'm highly sceptical about it. You are the only one that is not commercially connected with them with a good result i guess:D
Regular Member feelzgood Posted May 31, 2011 Author Regular Member Share Posted May 31, 2011 (edited) Now i'm 32 and transplant was back in 2008 so i was 29. And yes it was all in one session. Regular Member fightingbaldness Posted June 1, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted June 1, 2011 (edited) wow feelzgood your hair looks great. i have the same idea as you, i want FUE, i probs have a bit more hair then u did in your pre-op photos. But its a similar patter of loss and im destined to be a nw6/7. By the way i think your hair looks fine how it is!! i want FUE in the frontal 1/3 or half. then im gonna buzz it short like a number 2. and if my crown goes then so be it il jus wear it even shorter. i can only really afford one go at this. and it does make a difference having a hairline if if i buzz to a 0.5 or a number 1. and im not too botherd if i have a bit of a bald spot. Fellzgood please could you tell me or PM me how much i am looking to pay for 4k FUE or how much you paid for it? Thankyou.
