This 56 year old male patient first came to us in 2008 seeking a hair transplant to fill in the balding area on the top of his head. The patient’s first session consisted of a total of 2,200 grafts; 25% of which were single hair grafts, 45% were two hair grafts and 30% were three hair grafts. Using the stick and place method, the team concentrated on creating an irregular frontal hairline using single hair grafts. The frontal forelock was filled in using two and three hair grafts to create a denser appearance. The patient was very pleased with his results and decided to have a second session in 2010, follow-up pictures will follow.

While I recognize that this guy was a legit NW 6, his 2,200 graft first surgery left a lot to be desired. I don't think I've ever seen a result like that in nature. Hopefully this second surgery will make it look a bit better.

I have to agree with TC17 here,

 

Even with a first pass and expecting a second. His first HT looks very unnatural, I personally would be conscious about appearing in public and people would look at me and wonder what the heck happened.

 

Again, we'll just have to wait for HT#2 to see if that resolves the unnatural issue

Why did you put all the hairs in one area and not all over so it looks more natural. You said this guy has waited 2 years for his second transplant - that means he walked around like he has a really bad partial tupee only at the front of his head. Ouch!!
