Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted June 15, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted June 15, 2010 This fellow had significant plugginess from old style work. We did a 750 graft FUE on him before Christmas. While he is an ideal candidate with regard to that fuzzy salt and pepper hair, he got a great result and may improve even further. Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted June 23, 2010 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 23, 2010 Thanks for the comments. No I generally don't offer to unplug. I think that hair is good hair, its paid for, and its growing. Using the Christmas tree farm analogy I have blogged on numerous times....I prefer to plant amongst the already growing trees so that the passerby doesn't see the Christmas tree farm from the road---or the casual conversationalist doesn't notice all the plugs from a few feet away. Senior Member TC17 Posted June 23, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted June 23, 2010 I'm both shocked and very impressed that you were able to make such a huge difference with so few grafts. Great job, Dr. Lindsey.
Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted June 24, 2010 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 24, 2010 As much as I'd like to take full credit for a miracle... its this guys perfect hair and good growing physiology that make this a homerun. He has bushy-wirey hair that lends itself to great results in almost any situation. If this would have been an asian with really light skin color and dark hair, it would be a completely different result. Still good, but not fantastic. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA William H.
