Dear All:

Guys who do not believe in homeopathy medicine might not find this article interesting. I am a 24 year old Indian and I believe in Homeopathic remedies. I used to have an old id at this forum called isolence but I lost the password of it. So, I created a new one and posting this. I started losing hair in my temples area. I currently reside in US but I have a family homeopathic physician in India. He suggested me to use Scalptone tablets and I bought few bottles here. Apparently, there is a research clinical trial conducted by a physician and concluded improved results. They also have a patent for it. As it goes without saying, Homeopathic remedies do not have any side effects in most of the cases. I will update you guys if I find any positive results.

I love this forum as it boosts morale at multiple levels and I also admire Bill for his committed work in helping out bald guys by maintaining the forum.

There are some people who believe in leprechauns and unicorns, but it doesn't mean they exist .

 

I've seen no scientific evidence that homeopathic therapy can regrow hair. However, since you are going to give it a try, perhaps you'd be willing to document your progress on this community with monthly photos starting before therapy and ending upon termination of treatment.

 

I'd certainly be interested in following your progress.

Nothing against homeopathic medicine. On this forum we're pretty focused on results and documentation from multiple sources over time, but the test you point out is worth noting. It would be cool if you documented it and got some results. Maybe you would change some minds? It can't hurt to try.

Sure thing Bill. I take pictures of my hair line every week. So I shall document the results and update the pics if I see any positive results. The reason why I posted here is because of Herbal Hair loss remedies. You might have heard of St.Johns Wort that is a herbal drug for curing mild to moderate depression. Some people believe and some people don't. It is purely personal choice.

How do you know about St.Johns wort so well? They have conducted clinical trials and concluded that it is no more than placebo effect. But still people believe that it cures MODERATE depression. Propecia and Minoxidil are well known because they have scientific evidence and approved by FDA. Let me ask you a simple question before you comment. Is St.John's wort approved by FDA? How can you even compare Minoxidil and Prop with St.John's wort? The reason why I posted in this thread is because it is HERBAL HAIR LOSS REMEDIES. I repeatedly mentioned in my article that please read it only if you believe in homeopathic remedies and herbal stuff. If you do not believe why read and again comment? Simple LOGIC. Ain't it?

By the way there is no FDA in the UK so how would I know about an American organisation? I didnt compare St Johns Wort with Propecia and Minoxidil.

I understand from where you are coming from because i am from India as well. I dont think a majority of the people on this forum will get it because they have never been exposed to homeopathy. And you cant blame them either..I beleive in homeopathic as it has worked for me in the past. I have started taking homeopathic medicine for hair loss since seven months from a doctor in Mumbai. I live in the US now but am able to get a periodic supply of medication..Now the big question...does it work???I personally feel that i see less hair falling when i take a shower or when i apply minoxidil on my hair...But, i havent seen any regrowth at all. My doctor says that it should help and that i should be patient. My doctor did not prescribe me scalptone but i will ask her since you brought this up. Please keep me updated on your progress.

 

As far as other members on this forum who are skepital about hairloss, we should remember that we have not seen a great deal of results with Minoxidal or Propecia either. When was the last time you guys saw somebody post postive results from Propecia..I hear more negative stories than positive..and i have a final question for Bill

 

I read somewhere that you have had four surgeries and that you have lost all your native hair..Is there a reason you are still taking finasteride? Because the donor hair is not susceptibe to hair loss correct? I am not trying to offend you but am trying to figure out a long term solution for myself!!!
