Senior Member YoungGuy Posted February 19, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted February 19, 2007 1st HT. 3,300 FU with Dr. Feller. I will post my pre-op, immediately post-op and scar pictures as soon as I manage to get a hold of them. In the meantime, I would love any comments. How's it looking compared to others? I haven't experienced as much shedding as most people here have after a month, is that a good thing or bad? Update: Attaching my 2-month pics. I may be going nuts, but I swear I see hair growing where there was none before. The pre-op pics show that area being smooth, so I'm cautiously optimistic. Update: 4 month pictures up. It's growing! Aha!

Bill - Seemiller
Hey Youngguy, Thanks for sharing your photos with us. Unfortunately, there isn't a whole lot to comment on since we don't see any before pics and we don't see any immediately post op pictures. BUT...at this point, you should have shed most of your transplanted grafts and are on your way to the doldrums...where you'll have to wait and wait...until eventually the new little guys will grow in. 3300 grafts is a decent number (especially if you had them transplanted just in the frontal area) and you should notice some significant difference when all is said and done. I hope you'll post additional pics. Bill
Senior Member YoungGuy Posted February 20, 2007 Author Senior Member Share Posted February 20, 2007 Thanks for the comment Bill. I actually received my pre-op pictures today so will hopefully get to post them tomorrow!
Senior Member hairbank Posted February 20, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted February 20, 2007 YG- Thanks for posting the pics. As Bill mentioned, it will help to have some befores and immediately afters for comparison. As for shedding, it'll probably happen but they'll come back. I have heard of those who kept many of the HT hairs then they started growing, but it's far from the norm. Senior Member hairbank Posted March 23, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted March 23, 2007 Yeah YG, welcome to the waiting period known as the doldrums.........it sucks indeed! But, just think, in a couple of months you should see the crop starting to come in, what a pleasant thought! Hang in there. Bill - Seemiller
Youngguy, Good to see you posted your pre-op and immediately post-op photos. Dr. Feller does solid work. At month 3 you are only at the beginning. Hold on tight...the journey has just begun...but don't lose faith. Don't expect new growth every time you look in the mirror. It really does come in gradually. Bill
Senior Member YoungGuy Posted April 25, 2007 Author Senior Member Share Posted April 25, 2007 Thanks for the comments & the encouragement guys. I'm not at the losing faith point; if anything, I'm excited! I mean, heck, there's hair growing outta my noggin!!! Seriously though, I was worked on by a top rank surgeon. I'm at the 3 month mark and there's visible growth. What can possibly be there to be unhappy about? My expectations right now are to have a decent amount of hair 3 months from now, thin but present. I'm hoping for 50% growth by then. I'm excited to be on track for that!
Senior Member kamin Posted April 26, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted April 26, 2007 YoungGuy, Definitely a great improvement in comparison to your 'before' photos! It's really going to thicken up during the next nine months! From what I have seen on this forum, I have been very impressed with Feller's work. I'm planning on a third procedure later this year and, as of right now, Feller's my first choice.
Senior Member YoungGuy Posted April 27, 2007 Author Senior Member Share Posted April 27, 2007 Thanks! It's probably too early for me to say but thus far, I'd definitely recommend Dr. Feller

Senior Member the B spot Posted May 18, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted May 18, 2007 I think you look great, your face will end up framed and a very nice base will be laid for your second session. I think the coverage your getting from the growth is excellent and should make the coming months even sweeter. I think after 1 more session, you will be on your way to great new look!!!!! Senior Member YoungGuy Posted May 18, 2007 Author Senior Member Share Posted May 18, 2007 Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm planning a second 3,000+ session to cover the crown in another 8 months or so, at which point I should be done for a while. I'm excited about the growth, as you can tell - I'm seeing a difference at 4 months that I was expecting at 5. Dr. Feller really did a great job from what I can tell so far, hopefully time will prove me right.
