Bill - Seemiller
Hairprince, Congratulations on your recent hair translant surgery with a first-rate physician. Your postoperative photos look like the classic high quality of work I'm used to seeing from Dr. Rahal. Congratulations for choosing wisely! Take good care of the grafts according to Dr. Rahal's instructions and don't bump your head for the first couple weeks and you will be in great shape. Heal and grow well Best wishes, Bill

Senior Member hatrick Posted July 19, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted July 19, 2008 looks good but it might look alittle strange with a nice head of hair in front, and completely bald on the crown. anyway, congrats. Regular Member Ja-Man Posted July 19, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted July 19, 2008 Congrats, post op looks very good, the 4000K should provide very good coverage to the front half and frame your face. Do you plan to have a 2nd procedure to attack the back and crown? Just curious, are you currently on any hair loss meds? If so, for how long have you been on the meds? Regular Member hairprince Posted July 23, 2008 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 23, 2008 thanks every body for sharing opinions with me,I'm so happy so far with the results i got after 25 days post surgery....Dr Rahal really did an excellent work ......I added some more pics to my photo album ...plz take a look . honestly....I'm not sure yet about getting another surgery for my crown......Dr rahal advised me to wait first to see the results of my first HT and how my hair will look like before i decide going for a second HT . I'm curretly using Rogain only as this was the only meds Dr Rahal advised me to use 3 weeks post HT .

Senior Member Eman Posted July 29, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted July 29, 2008 scar looks really good!! Regarding hatrick's comment: from what I have seen with patients with this level of hair loss, many top docs rather than covering the entire scalp in one session then add density in a second session, they dense pack the front for the first session then for the second session do the same in the crown and maybe do temple work or add some more to the original recipient site. Thanks for the update prince! My initial HT thread: done and done!! Check it out...

Senior Member Fallenstar Posted August 1, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted August 1, 2008 np HP, the first 3 months will be very slow, but then around 4-5 months things go crazy :-) i think you have similar hair characteristics like mine, so i am also optimistic your results will come through pretty quick...need a little patience in meantime, but it will happen..trust me :-) i think this method of dense packing is good bcuz in the area you cover with the implants the hair will result in a pretty dense hair looking very natural. depending on the outcome, u can then decide to have a second round in the crown if it concerns u. i am having it done because its like a dream come true, having a "full" head of hair once more !! i would relax now, dont bump ur head etc etc happy growing & look forward to seeing ur blog over next 12 months all the best, Fallenstar My Hair Loss Weblog - Hair Transplant with Dr. Bessam Farjo

Regular Member hairprince Posted February 5, 2009 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 5, 2009 Honestly, I's so happy so far that at least, i got rid of that hat I used to put on all the time before my surgery :-) I fell that I'm turning to be a new person , different from the one I was used to seeing every day in the mirror . my most important goal before the surgery actually was having hair lines to frame my face as i really have a big forehead which used to make me look really way older than my real age expecting more thickness in the next few months as Dr Raha ltold me....I'll keep praying :-) thanks every body for your kind comments,
Bill - Seemiller
hairprince, If you have higher quality photos, I encourage you to post them. I can see that you clearly have more hair now, but the quality of the pictures is preventing us from seeing any real detail. I'm glad to hear you're happy so far. 4000 grafts should make a nice difference. And you can always go back for more if you want it and have the donor for it. Best wishes, Bill
