Senior Member baldcasanova Posted May 20, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted May 20, 2005 So the deed is finally done. I went in for my procedure with Dr. James B. DeYarman of San Diego, Ca. today and this is that start of my online journal and photo album for those who are interested. I'll be adding more pics frequently. After 2 HTs, I have had a total of 2,800 Grafts ____________________________ 630 FUT - 8/27/03 2200 FUT - 5/20/05 2000 FUT - 12/15/07 "i haven't been this bald since.... well... since I was born!" Senior Member Robert_ Posted May 22, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted May 22, 2005 Cas, It's an issue that came up right before the weekend so I didn't get a chance to have it resolved right away. I am working on the problem now so it will be resolved ASAP. I will make a post when it is. Other than that, so far so good! I have always liked Dr. Deyarman's grid pattern of mapping out the recipient area. Thanks for the pictures detailing this for others to see. -Robert ------------------------------ Check out the results of my surgical hair restoration performed by Dr. Jerry Cooley by visiting my Hair Loss Weblog

Senior Member Robert_ Posted July 9, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted July 9, 2005 HBT is (kind of ) right when he says patience. 1.5 mos. is nothing. You have another month-and-a-half or so to go before things get going and *maybe* longer since this isn't your first procedure. Kick back and give it some time. Let's see what "pops" up. -Robert ------------------------------ Check out the results of my surgical hair restoration performed by Dr. Jerry Cooley by visiting my Hair Loss Weblog

Senior Member Robert_ Posted July 9, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted July 9, 2005 It's kind of like your calling card. Maybe we should get you a cape. Yeah, a cape. And on the back, instead of an "S," it can have an "S" with a circle around it with a line through it. (Sorry to hijack your thread, Cas. Won't happen again, buddy.) -Robert ------------------------------ Check out the results of my surgical hair restoration performed by Dr. Jerry Cooley by visiting my Hair Loss Weblog

I'm optimistic. ____________________________ 630 FUT - 8/27/03 2200 FUT - 5/20/05 2000 FUT - 12/15/07 "i haven't been this bald since.... well... since I was born!" Regular Member tymman Posted September 3, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted September 3, 2005 Yo Cass- looking really good so far! I am seeing a few starting to poke through in my recipiecnt areas, I'll post some pix in a couple of weeks. Your pix are showing some really good looking hair, I mean it looks very thick and strong. Happy growing buddy!!!!! Oh yeah- I've heard the crown takes longer to grow for some reason.... Is your crown "sprouting"?? I see some growth there but I'm not sure how many are transplants. Senior Member kg007 Posted September 5, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted September 5, 2005 Looks great for 3.5 months. I didn't much growth until like 4-5 months. Looking forward to see your progess. KG
Guest
There's a big difference between the 2?? and 3?? month pics. I thought that things didn't even start happening until 3?? months. Or is that shaved/pre-existing shocked hair that grew back? If you carry on growing at that rate you'll have a massive afro by six months. Thanks for sharing; can't wait to see how much grows during the next month. PB
Senior Member Robert_ Posted September 7, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted September 7, 2005 Cas, At 3.5 months post-op I can see that you are starting to sprout. Remember that in (most?) many patients, subsequent procedures typically grow in a little slower than the first. Looking good so far, though. Happy growing. -Robert ------------------------------ Check out the results of my surgical hair restoration performed by Dr. Jerry Cooley by visiting my Hair Loss Weblog
Regular Member Spock Posted October 7, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted October 7, 2005 Hi Cas Your 4.5 months out now. How is your growth? I'm curious to know how it's turning out for you. I recently tried to post my photo album on my results with Dr. DeYarman. My results were mediocre and Pat won't approve it. If you want to compare notes send me a PM. Good luck and happy growing. You should be in the exploding phase now!
Senior Member Robert_ Posted October 7, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted October 7, 2005 Spock, That isn't true at all. Your post was halted in the que because it contained reference to a physician that, due to ethical issues and concerns, we do not allow posts to mention on the Hair Restoration Research Forums. I sent you an email myself that contained your entire post and invited you to edit it and resubmit it. -Robert ------------------------------ Check out the results of my surgical hair restoration performed by Dr. Jerry Cooley by visiting my Hair Loss Weblog
Regular Member Spock Posted October 8, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted October 8, 2005 I never received an email from you Robert. Nor did I receive a reply to my PM to you asking why my photo album was not posted. If you remember, you erased my 5 month results posting off this site and then I pulled my photo album in protest. Not sure what your referring to when you say ethical issues and concerns. We can discuss it here or in PM. I'd rather not hijack Cas's thread.
