Going on 18 months growth with Dr. Feller

I am very happy with the great results I received from my procedure with Dr. Feller.

I visted him 18 months ago from Europe for repair of transplants I had in my hair line in France a few years before. Since I got stung once. I wanted to make sure it didn't happen again. I did my research and found that Dr. Feller had an excellent reputation for consistenly fixing old hair transplants so I sent my photos to him.

He advised 1,500 grafts when he received my photos, but was able to fit 1,800 grafts in at the time of my procedure.

Dr. Feller and his staff were much more professional and efficient than my first doctor in France. I only wish I had visited with him first.

My photos are posted.

Thank you,

Frenchguy

That's a great result. I'd give anything if I'd found someone of Feller's skill about 20 years ago.

You guys on the forum who are 24 - 30 years old are very lucky you weren't thinning back in the 80's and early 90's.

Thanks for posting these, the results are exactly what I've been looking for. After much though that hair transplants are ALL wirey/coarse, especially on us lighter haired people, you give me new hope xD

Was yours FUE or strip?

I've seen better results from strip than I have FUE, including hair quality, but I just can't commit to a scar like that.

Also, did the new procedure increase scarring in the recipient site? What was it like before?

Would love to see some high resolution photos, clear photos of the hair shafts to see the placement and density up close.

Thanks, and congrats!

wicked result, just almost unbelieveably good, Feller is definitely the guy to watch, his results are consistent as allways. Yes I assume it was FUE, but did you have a previous scar from a strip or not, just wondering, if it was revised, etc, great show dude

If you're looking for a top down shot you can find one as the last picture in the gallery.

When I took the photo I made sure to clip up his original hair so that it didn't cover our transplants. This makes analysis much easier.

The only hair you see cascading down over his forehead are the transplants we did 18 months ago.

Here is a top down shot for Frenchguy without his hair clipped up. The entire front tuft is from the transplants.

Another terrific result from dr. Feller!

It is always nice to see 18 month results pics. I just wish more patients have more patience to come back once fully grown out to show us their pictures.

F???©licitation et merci Frenchguy!

Here are super closeups of Frenchguys hairline BEFORE surgery with Feller Medical.

You can see some of the minigrafts from his first surgery in France with another clinic.

Here are super closeups of Frenchguys hairline.

The first photo is with the hair pulled back as styled.

The Second and Third are of the hair pulled back with a comb.

The fourth is with his native hair pulled back revealing only grafted hair streaming down over his forehead.

You are welcome Dr.Feller

I exchanged some thoughts with Dr.Haber,in Q and A, about the position of excision strip.I quoted your view.I hope you don't mind.

I agree with you.I know in a most personal/emotional way,the position of the scar on the back of the head,is the first step, important step,in the ladder of reasons that contribute to thin scars.Surgeon needs to determine the optimal place, before he puts the scalpel on someone's head.

Thanks Ben.

John,

There is already a very well established "optimal place" within the donor area to take a strip from. This place, and it's landmarks, are well described in the textbook "Hair Transplantation" 4th edition. Unfortunately, there are MANY doctors who either haven't read it nor figured it out on their own. That's why there are so many people out there with the most wacky donor scars.

Find a reputable HT doctor and get yourself fixed up. It's done literally everyday. If you don't want to deal with another strip surgery, then go for some FUE work.

Thank you Doctor Feller

I will when I am able.

I noticed today that recently you had a patient from England seeking repair from bad HT,with strip taken too low.

I believe he will be happy and with most desirable outcome.

Thanks again
