  1. Hi Guys, thanks for the responses, allways good to get the feedback. just to clarify, i had 3200, and think i want another 2000 in the temples to close the angles and beef up the hairline a bit. I fugure avter one strip, the second is no big deal, as Rahal with excise the first scar, during the procedure, still that risk that goes with any invasive technique, but i am so happy to have what I have now, i guess its the Hair greed getting to me now! Hairhope, i hear ya, I am just looking at the second procedure, i am noticing a lot of thinkening lately, so will give it another 3 months til i make my final decision, thanks for replying! Petchski, thanks for reply, i am thinking though that 1000 in the hairline and 500 in each temple will only help with the illusion of density as i plan on cobing it straight back anyway, figure it can't hurt. Abedogg, thanks for the reply, as i noted above, sorry for the confusion, i had 3200 grafts and now looking at an additional 2000, looking at my options and hoping to get some advice here regarding the second procedure. Bill: thanks for the reply, probably just hair greed, but i am extremely happy, would love to have a little more density though, just thinking another procedure will help, as for the transplant, best thing i ever did in my life for myself!!!! yours is looking wicked!!! Thanatopsis: correct, i mentioned only that i wanted another 2000, but willing to give it a few more months. Forrest: thanks for the positive comments, makes a difference, keep up the great work on this site guys, if it wasn't for Bill and a lot of you, i would never have gone through with this!!! cheers
  2. sorry I haven't posted lately, getting some requests to see new pics, so 9 month phots are on my blog. More than happy with result, i am going for another 2000 in the hairline and temples at 1 year post op. cheers people!!!!!

  4. Hey buddy, looking really good, the hairline and points are really coming in excellent, couldn't be happier for you, you deserve it!!!! Man we will have to get together in 12 months to celebrate, i am starting to see some growth and as stoked as you are, definitely the best decision i have made!!! anyway keep growing man, your going to have a tiger mane there in the next few months!!!!! I am just downloading a few pics, inside florescent lighting, flash and no flash, have a look and tell me what you think. I would say we are about at the same point!!!! cheers, tommy
  5. Red, in my opinion, there are a 5-10 excellent surgeons out there doing exceptional strip work, we all have our favorites, Rahal is by far near the top of that list. One advantage of thin hair if you are having hairline work done, is that it tends to lend to more natural looking hairlines as opposed to thick shaft hair, thats my opinion and it has been written about frequently, so a definite advantage for you. this is by far the best site and group of guys and girls on the WWWW, so get some pre-op pics up here and get some pre-op advice/suggestions before going in. tommyf
  6. you are in the best of hands, relax, you will do great!!!! tommy
  7. looks good dude, you are just starting so relax, be patient and you will do fine, looks really good already though, so be happy!!tommyf
  8. hey dude, looking really good, the temples are coming in really nicely, big improvement in a month, the scar looks like a moot issue, in a few months you will completely forget about that. hopefully we will be seeing some results over next few months, i am excited as you are , can't wait, the last 3 months have been long!!!!! cheers and we will chat soon. i will get a few pics up this week, but pretty much where you are i think, keep the faith man tommy
  9. your ok, only warm water, drizzle a little baby shampoo, or what ever your dr. recommended, and then a few cups of water, no direct water jets to your grafts, don't linger, in and out quickly is probably best til the grafts set well in a few days. cheers
  10. get on the big three meds first for a full year, propecia, minox and nizoral, in the interim, research fue docs and there results, as you narrow down who you want do online consults and ask for lists of fue patients they have done and speak with them. you are not a candidate for strip at this early age. get a complete blood profile also done including thyroid and make sure your healthy. research at least one year. tommy
  11. looking good dude. we now look like twins, i kid you not, everything looks good, your temple points seem to be coming in a little, so all looks good, hopefully we will celebrating in a few months. til then, keep the faith and we will talk later!!!!
  12. zaz, if you can wear a hat at work, don't worry about it, if not look at 6 weeks minimun, also depends on size of ht whether strip or fue, level of baldness, front or crown, all that comes into play. You also may want to tell your immediate co-workers that you had the work done, worked with me, good luck
  13. Wondering about how long to avoid direct UV exposure after my transplant. I am heading to Jamacia in two weeks, so I will be 10 weeks post-op, just wondering what precautions should I take, or is a little UV ok? Any advice really appreciated tommy
  14. eman dude, we're on the same page, what were we thinking!!!! looking forward to seeing some new pics of your new doo!!!If it feels this good now, what will it feel like in 6 months, keep smiling dude, i know you are in for a wicked result!!!! keep me posted, tommy
  15. wantego, man, if I get half your result I would be extremely happy, you have to be pinching yourself. One question, how think is your hair, shaft diameter, so hard to tell in pictures, probably the best result I have ever seen on this forum tommy
  16. thanks dude for the imput, your results look wicked, you gotta be happy, keep in touch and will be watching for your updates tommy
  17. I am 7 weeks post op and no one notices or questsions now, just said I wanted to see what short hair feels like, 70 days you should be more than fine, don't sweat it, pull the trigger. tommy
  18. you really need to take your surgeons advice, but I think the assumption is after 10-14 days the grafts are more or less permanent. I waited a little longer, just washed my hair more often and lots of vit E oil seemed to do the trick. If in Doubt contact your surgeon!!!! good luck tommy
  19. Its definitely been the longest 7 weeks of my life, but hopefully will be worth the trauma both emotionally and physically. My position to this point, still glad I did it, can get away with no hat at work now, sprinkle a little topikk and minimize the flourescent lighting!! any comment on my blog pics appreciated, any questions , shoot away, cheers, tommyf

  22. CHEERS, are you still looking in the mirror 2000 times a day, I gotta get out of that habit.. Your scar looks great for 4 weeks. I look at your pics but honestly remember nothing when you dropped in at the clinic for your recheck, thought you were the surgeon!!!!!!
  23. hey brother, hope all is well with you. Looking superb dude, you are going to be amazed in a few months, It looks like your doing great as expected..... Your girlfriend may have to lock you up after this!!!!, I think we are progessing at about the same rate, hate seeing that hairline disappear but hopefully its only a few months. Can't say I have had any regrets, how about you? seems like the dryness is reducing, still using 5% minox at night and 2% during the day. Still very upbeat about the whole thing, can not wait til my first haircut with a real hairline, thats what keeps me going. Think I am going to be in chicago on the 11th of November til the 15th, maybe we'll geta chance to meet, compare notes!!!!! tommyf
  24. lots of us have lurked around here for months and even years, lots don't join until they have definitely decided they are going through with the ht procedure. Only then do we decide to join the site and ask the nesessary questions. this is selfish, and I know firsthand as I was definitely one of those people however plan on staying around as long as I can be of any help to future posters. Whether our results turn out to be good or bad we owe it to this board and the people who put long hard hours into answering our questions and giving us all this very valuable information that we get here. Especially for us newbies, just post ht, who get such benefit from hearing from the experts here and give us that little bit of positive feedback that we need and long, to get us through the harder times to come as we wait for the results of our surgeries. For better or for worse I plan on staying around and hope I can help even a few people along the way. People do not fully understand know what this board has done in the advancement of hair transplant and imagine what it will do in the next 10 years. It has encouraged excellence in practice with in all honestly only the internet and this site and others like it has been able to achieve. It has told fly by night hairmill operations that we will not tolerate sub-par practicioners and you better get your A+++ game on or you will not make it in this industry. so help where you can, don't disapear because you got what you needed from this site, help a few others first!!! tommyf tommyf
