I am 26, had a previous surgery with bosley and it was really bad, long story short I had been using toppik but decided to get another surgery done specially bc its hard to fix the messed up hairline that bosley had created. I had 2100 done on my hairline and middle of the scalp from a very respectable dr from this forum. Its been 4.5 months and my hair in the middle looks alot better (either from propecia which i have been on for 6 months or the surgery) but my main concern was always the hairline. I dont see anything coming out from my hairline, should i be concerned or is that normal. Everyday i look at those gaps hoping for the smallest possible hair but nothing yet. The bosley hairline is still visible but the middle does look better and i hardly see any hair loss in the shower either. Please help

You could just be a slow starter, or the hair just hasn't started growing there yet. Usually you will start to see some growth at the 3 to 4 month mark. There is no hard and fast rule that says growth has to be evenly distributed, or specific to a region. I would relax a bit, call your doc, and see what he or she says. Could be that they have started but are wispy at this point. By 5.5 months you should start to see some activity for sure, so I would wait until then before starting to worry. Call your Doc and let us know what he/she says.

Hi Marino,

My hairline did take a little longer to come in than my middle region. Give it a little more time.
