  1. I had posted on this website a couple of months ago about my hairline growing in after the surgery. Now its been 8 months and I feel that my hair is alot better than what it used to be but my hairline is still very "gappy" from my previous surgery at bosley. I picked a doctor through this website and everybody in here has helped me alot so I am back, hopefully you guys can help me out again. I dont want to name teh dr before i talk to him but from what i read and saw he is one of the best, i am going to call him tomm and see what he says. Is it possible that hair might start growing in after 8 months?? I am going to try to post pictures this weekend. thanks
  2. try some hairspray after toppik, it shouldnt be flying all over the place like that. From what i read it doesnt inhibit hair growth but i havent seen any research on that so its all speculations i guess
  3. You should definately try toppik and dermatch, i prefer toppik but since you are just starting it wouldnt be a bad idea to order both and try to see which looks better on you.
  4. I am 26, had a previous surgery with bosley and it was really bad, long story short I had been using toppik but decided to get another surgery done specially bc its hard to fix the messed up hairline that bosley had created. I had 2100 done on my hairline and middle of the scalp from a very respectable dr from this forum. Its been 4.5 months and my hair in the middle looks alot better (either from propecia which i have been on for 6 months or the surgery) but my main concern was always the hairline. I dont see anything coming out from my hairline, should i be concerned or is that normal. Everyday i look at those gaps hoping for the smallest possible hair but nothing yet. The bosley hairline is still visible but the middle does look better and i hardly see any hair loss in the shower either. Please help

  6. Really like the results but it just seems that 7 month looks better than 8 months. Am i missing something here. thanks
  7. Great video but i would have loved it even more if you used your hands and showed us closeups of the parting or the front. thanks
  8. hey jagdish, do you have any new pics. thanks
  9. they do have a generic proscar on drugstore but i just wanted to make sure b4 i switch. Anybody in here who switched please help
  10. Been on propecia for 3.5 months and it seem to be working for me ( i think it is ) havent seen any growth but hairloss is at a minimum and hair seems thicker. My question was that if i switch from propecia to proscar, would i get any shedding even though its the same stuff. Since propecis is working for me, is it stupid for me to try to switch to proscar to save some money??? Thanks alot

  12. toppik and dermmatch are the best inventions EVER.. I use dermmatch first and then a little toppik with their fiberhold spray to get a full coverage. Definately worth buying it
  13. Arent you supposed to wait a yr b4 having another transplant....
  14. did your dr create an unnatural V looking hairline???
  15. i dont think i had any shedding with propecia but did shed with the HT. About scalpmed, they have a guarantee so you should return that and get 5% minoxidil from ebay and just use that..
  16. The ones that havent fallen out, will they grow later on as the months progress.. thanks
  17. I am 7 weeks post op and most of the small grafts shed out but when i touch my head i can still feel some of them. Arent they supposed to all fall out b4 they grow again and is there something i should be concerned about.. thanks alot

  19. Looks great, I dont get how you got such great density with only 1800 and some of the other transplants with 2500 or 3000 dont achieve the same results even though the starting point are very similar to yours.. Thanks for sharing the pics.
  20. i got a propecia prescription from my dr who did the surgery, would he also write one for proscar since its not really for hairloss. What about the generic proscar, is it worth it???thanks
  21. you dont have to stop taking it if you are trying to get your wife pregnant. I read couple of articles where it stated that propecia isnt traceable in the sperm to have any effect. Any about the watery semen, it doesnt matter either bc its not reducing sperm count.
  22. Does anyone know why Dr. Katz prefer smaller sessions. Are there any benefits of having a smaller session like minimal shock loss or better growth? Just wondering bc if he is a recommended surgeon here then he must be qualified so he must have his reasons too.. thanks for the help
