  1. Wow, that is a pretty bold comment buddy. When I tell people I had this done, they do not believe me. I have to show them pictures of before and after. This has led to many going to PAI after seeing me. So where are YOUR pictures? I looked at your profile and saw a 0 next to photos. And BTW, I have looked at the results of many patients on this forum of the more expensive surgeons, and mine results are as good, or better, than theirs. My hair transplant was no means cheap, but I think many guys on here are regretting overpaying for the "recommended" doctors, (who pay a fee to be on here), instead of physically visiting and talking to actual patients, like I did. Pictures do not always best show the results. And my pictures are 2 years old. It looks even better today.
  2. Hey Brad, I had a great experience. http://hair-restoration-info.c...66060861/m/650105432
  3. I got the same advice. Be very careful about excecises that require head or neck movement. I went back to the gym about 2 weeks after. I lifted, but I did a bunch of cardio, which also increases blood flow to nourish the new folicles.
  4. The actual anniversary date was April 9th. Dr. Bolton works for PAI in Nashville TN.
  5. Here was my month results I posted onj this forum: http://hair-restoration-info.c...566060861/m/39210315 I just had my 1 year photos done and will post them Monday afternoon.
  6. I can speak from experience. I have a friend who just asked his HT doctor to reduce the price because he was paying cash and they did. It is tough times for these doctors, just like other businesses, and they NEED clients. This is kind of a "name your own price" economy. I just got a brand new box spring and mattress priced at $875.00 closeout for $500.00 out the door, tax and all!
  7. If you are loking for track record versus cost, check out PAI in Nashville. They were much cheaper than the "recommended" doctor in my area. I doubt anyone here can argue with my results: http://hair-restoration-info.c...566060861/m/39210315
  8. Looks good. I am at 9 months too. I like hearing "there will be more thickening". I am looking forward to it.
  9. Yes, sorry. Brett Bolton from PAI. I am happy with the results so far. I hope to have a little bit more density.
  10. Here are some pictures from my 8 month update. Each angle shows pre-op, 4 month, and now.

  12. I have been coming here for 5 months and have gotten lots of great advice, even though I have stirred up some things. I am also a recovering alcoholic, and even though I haven't had a drink in almost 4 years, I still go to AA meetings. You stick with what works. Once my hair is where it will end up, I will still come here to help when I can and get advice.
  13. Again guys, sorry. I don't doubt that most of you have integrity, just wanted to make sure I got an honest answer from those who don't. Thanks for the comments. I will keep you guys updated.
  14. Please see post http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/showthread.php?t=146638
  15. I posted my 4 month results under another user account. I felt I had to do this because if I posted under my main account and told you guys who did the work, I may not have gotten honest feedback. Who did the work? PAI. Dr. Brett Bolton There are so many folks on this board who say "PAI sucks" and "they are a hair mill". Well, it appears that they did pretty good work on my head. I just thought I needed to show that there are good transplant doctors who work for companies that are called "hair mills". Here is the link to the 4 month results. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/showthread.php?t=154587 Under BigDog account. 2400 graphs, if I remember right. I can double check.

  17. I had mine done almost 4 months ago. Mine came in pretty fast already. People already say I look 5-10 years younger. I had the full level 12 transplant, and I am really happy about it.
  18. Really? I had mine done almost 4 months ago. I go back fo my appointment in 2 weeks for checkup photos. I will post them on the forums after. I get comments all the time about how great it already looks, and we are at only 3 1\2 months. It is getting really old hearing about how PAI sucks, when not a single one of you have had anything done there. Don't lump them in with Bosely and other so-called hair mills. They do great work here in Nashville, at least. I met with several people who had it done and they looked as good, or even better, in the before and after than these doctor's you guys hock for that charge 3 times as much. I am trying to be civil about this forum. But it is comments like these that make me think you guys are on the payroll. I don't want to hear the speeches about "it is just our experience" , and "we found out the hard way". Until I see any post, and photos, where PAI screwed up a transplant, then stop talking out your as#ses.
  19. I used liquid Vitamin E and it helped. It tends to be pretty oily, so I used it at night only.
  20. I started using Minoxidil 2 weeks after the surgery, and at 7 weeks, I have hairs that are 1\8" to 1\4" in length.
  21. This is going to sound weird, but Proscar has actually leveled me to a "normal" sex drive. I have been a damn horn-dog my whole life. Now that has calmed down. Sure, my level of discharge is down a bit, but I think this is where I should have been my whole life. Giving me Viagra would be like giving the pyromaniac the Zippo!
  22. I take Proscar, (and pharmacies realize what we use it for. They always ask "is this for prostate"?). Really it is none of their business. I just bit off a small piece. The ones I take are trianglar in shape, which makes this easier. I have almost gotten it down to a science. My HT surgeon states that you can even take it for a few days, skip a day, then go back. It builds in your system and is used when DHT is produced.
