Not everyone cares if people know what they are having done. I went back to work 2 days later with a do-rag and I explained what I had done. Most people admired me for doing something about it, or they are losing their hair and had a ton of questions. Everyone you know most likely realizes you have pattern baldness. That is at least the way I see it. I understand that some people are private.

Call them for a list of referral patients. I actually met with a guy I went to school with!

I had the same issue 1 month after the HT. Sure enough, little hairs are coming out. I am at 6 weeks and I already see a haze of hair.

On the transplanted area, I get the sudden zit like boils. I can pop them and clear fluid and bood comes out. They stop bleeding pretty quick. It has been one month since the transplant. All scabs are gone. Is this normal? Is it OK to pop them?

I ride a motorcycle and waited almost 3 weeks to ride due to "donor owies". Usually I wear a doo-rag under my helmet. This helps with the inside of the helmet rubbing my graft area.

I have long hair and had the procedure done 1 month ago. I am in the ugly duckling phase and had some shock loss. I will post pics in a couple more months.

I have read on some sites about using Minoxadil after surgery to speed up or promote the new growth. Any truth to this? Anybody done it? Thanks!

Well, I got it done yesterday. It went perfectly. We ended up doing a level 12 because the loss on the top was greater than I thought. The FU's in the front look flawless and the MHU's in the back look great. While I was in there, a patient who was coming in for his 1 year follow up came into the room. They had his file out with pictures and he had Bosely "doll plugs" from 10 years ago. They had to fix that with one session, then they did a level 10. He looked fantastic! He told me that I made the right decision. The doctor called me that night to make sure all was well. If PAI was a "hair mill" that doesn't care about their patients, I doubt they would have called. I can already see what it is going to look like. The doctors who prepared the follicles stated that they are flawless and my scalp is in greta shpe. I will start posting here tomorrow with pics. Here is the deal, for the 10th time. I asked for anyone who had experienced PAI. All I got was "not familiar with them, but lot's of red flags" or things like that. No actual experience, just conjecture. The only doctor who this site recommends in Tennessee is Dr Fisher. He does many other surgeries besides hair transplants and he charges $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. ($15,000 for 1,500 hairs)I want a doctor that only does hair transplants, not nose and boob jobs too! This is like buying auto parts at K Mart. I have done my own research. I visited with 2 Nashville PAI patients. (One I went to school with). Their hair looked fantastic! They showed me before pics from family events to compare with what they look like today. If PAI is a "typical hair mill", then I could not tell. I learned long ago that you cannot deny someone their own experience. I appreciate all that you guys have said, but I wanted a patient of PAI to respond. Someone who has never been to PAI and says it sucks is like a virgin trying to tell a porn star how to screw. Lot's of theory and hear say. None have you have been there, I met with people who have. I will do before and after pics, (if allowed), so others do not have to "guess" anymore. That is how you help, share actual experience, strength, and hope.

Well, here is an update for you guys. I got a referral list of former patients of PAI in my area. I talked to 3 of them this morning. All had nothing but awesome things to say about Dr Bolton. Here is the kicker. I KNOW ONE OF THESE GUYS FROM HIGH SCHOOL! No BS here!He said the same thing the others did and they said they would all do it again in a heartbeat, if it were necessary. I will post before and after photos. Thanks for everything.

I appreciate everyone who has responded. What I asked for was anyone who has actually experienced PAI. I know Please Grow Hair stated "PAI sucks in Illinois", but why? First of all, I surf the net for a living. I do not buy a toothbrush without researching it first. I have dug, and dug, and dug, on Dr Bolton and many others. I pulled educations, years experience, where the surgeries are performed, and price (yes, that is important to me). I do this for any procedure. I am sure that all of the doctors who are listed on this site. I even called the one listed for Tennessee. It appears that Dr Fisher and Dr Bolton have been doing this about the same amount of years. One thing that I have learned in working in the computer industry is that if someone does not provide good service, product, or procedure, there WILL be a complaint about them somewhere on the internet. There are no complaints for Dr Bolton, but bunches about other doctors. One of you said "yeah, they pay their BBB fees, but what if these "recommeded surgeons on this site are paying for recommendation? Prove it to me. I am not trying to convince people of anything. I was looking for actual experience. I am not made of money, and since the credit crunch, I cannot finance. Some of these doctors charge $$$$$$$$$$, and believe me, I understand that you get what you pay for. I am far from naive.

Yeah, I put a deposit down. They have 10 centers in the US and 4 in Canada. They have been featured on local TV here and they are an accredited business with the Better Business Beurau. No complaints. Member here in Nashville for 10 years.

I went to see them and it looks like they do great work. Their record is squeaky clean with the BBB and the internet, unlike some companies. I am scheduled to get a 4000 hair transplant. I am a type 4a, but still have a lot of hair still there. Has anyone experienced them? Thanks!
