  1. Robert, I would like to see articles pertaining to the latest research going on in the area of hair loss such as hair multiplication, newer meds in the pipeline, genetic engineering, etc. I would also like to see updates as to how the use of body hair is progressing. Thanks, GuitarPlayer
  2. Excellent addition. Dr. Jeffrey Epstein is definitely in the top percentile of all hair transplant surgeons.
  3. I agree with what Robert said. Most who go the proscar route use 1.25mg daily.
  4. AQ, If you were having good results with both, I would continue with both. I wouldn't question it. They work in completely different ways. The problem with rogaine is that it doesn't attack the root of the problem, which is DHT. On the other hand, propecia doesn't really act as a growth stimulant the way that rogaine does. The best line of action is to use both. GuitarPlayer
  5. Arfy, How many grafts of body hair did you have and where was it taken from? What do you think your yield was? How long has the hair grown? Sorry about all the questions, I'd just be very interested to hear how your experience went. You don't seem to be one to sugar-coat things. Thanks, GuitarPlayer
  6. Arfy, I am not in Japan. I was just curious, as I stated in my post. I have just never heard of any good docs in Japan, while I have heard of many good docs in the United States, Canada, South America, etc. GuitarPlayer
  7. I believe that I've read that they should start to grow back within three to five months, providing that you weren't going to lose the hair within six months anyway.
  8. Hey guys, Where is the best place to buy Nizoral 2% online without a prescription? Thanks, GuitarPlayer

  10. I've found that this shampoo does make my hair feel thicker. I also like to use Jason "Thin to Thick."
  11. Smithy, I would get on Propecia right away. Also, you could always just put rogain in at night and then wash your hair the next morning. That's what I do. The best regimen is to use propecia AND rogaine. You should also use a therapeutic shampoo a couple times a week to fight the itching from the rogaine. Nizoral and Neutrogena T-Sal are both good therapeutic shampoos. Nizoral also has mild anti-DHT effects on the scalp. By the way, sounds like you have an awesome girlfriend.
  12. Sounds like a scam. By having minoxidil in their solution they can claim it is FDA approved. I buy Kirkland brand minoxidil at Costco for about $20 per 3 pack.
  13. Was this your first procedure and how many grafts did you have?
  14. NYCman, What doctors did you consult with if you don't mind me asking? Thanks.
  15. The article doesn't state exactly what the "therapy" was, but I'm willing to bet it was low level laser therapy. I've read posts from guys spending $3-$4K and getting no results.
  16. Wasn't Dr. Charles conducting some sort of study with the laser comb? Anyone know about that?
  17. I have read about many good docs in the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe, South America, etc. Just out of curiosity, I was wondering if there are any good hair transplant surgeons in Japan.

  19. Sorry to hear about your situation. A lot of us have been taken advantage of and know what you're going through. Unfortunately, there are stories like this all over the internet about these two "companies" and another very well known company. They prey upon people's desperation and seem to put more energy into advertising than doing quality work. You may want to consult with a couple of top docs recommended on this site and see what they have to say about your situation. Jeffrey Epstein and Ron Shapiro have excellent reputations for doing repair work. If you're not interested in another hair transplant and just want to stick with a system, I've heard nothing but good things about Farrell systems.
  20. Thanks for the reply Lisa. Is the reason for doing a 5000 graft session in two days as oppossed to one have to do with the amount of technicians on hand or is there another reason? I noticed you wrote that the strip is typically 1.5-2cm wide. I believe I read one of the moderators on here post that docs like Ron Shapiro and Jeffrey Epstein do not take strips more than 1.5cm because they believe it produces a wide scar. What has Dr. Keene's experience with this been? Thanks.
  21. Mahair, Those bills definitely sound like a step in the right direction. Do you know of any other bills being introduced in other states? Would you be able to provide me with contact information for the Florida State Rep? Thanks.
  22. Does anyone know approximately how long Phase III trials would take?
  23. Your best bet would be to find a few doctors recommended on this site whose work you like and consult with them. I consulted in person with four surgeons recommended on this site and then made my decision from there.
  24. The consensus seems to be mixed on this treatment modality. I've read lots of posts of posts about guys spending $3000 - $4000 to get no results. I've read posts from others that thought the "laser comb" helped them tremendously.
