1. I don't remember hearing about anyone good in Taiwan. I think you may need to fly to Bangkok...
2. OK... check out my one year update. As you can see, new hair is not the ONLY thing I got in Thailand... As a bonus... you can now see my face!
3. I'm not sure what else to say about Dr. Pathomvanich other than what I have already said... he's amazing. The one year update in my blog should give everyone an idea about how happy I am with my procedure. HAHAHAHAHA....
4. haha... if you think you're gonna get pre-styled hair, think again. You're not going in to get a "Ken" wig attached.
5. NOTE: The one with the plugs IS NOT ME! HAHA... It's gone now! But you can see that they WERE linking to it on my YouTube page: Click on "Statistics and Data" and you will see the link to dermdestination.com/videos (I don't know how long this will stay, given that the video has been pulled.) Maybe someone noticed this thread and pulled it? This site sure carries a lot of weight if that is the case... how else can we explain how quickly it was removed? Anyway, The one with the plugs IS NOT ME!
6. It does seem like being reinstated after posting new before/after pics is a fair compromise.
7. Based on my reading of these two threads, it is hard to believe this came to a lawsuit. That only needs to happen when one side has completely refused to negotiate and I don't see that here at all. Hell, my wife and I didn't even go to court when we divorced because we knew we'd just end up poorer. And guess what? We're still friends today! If we can do it, anyone can. In cases like this, no one wins in court; one side just loses less. It sounds like this could be worked out. Please consider mediation...
8. I just checked it... and you are RIGHT! I had a #3 on there! I could have sworn that I put on a 2! I will edit the title of the post. Sorry for the error.
9. Thanks... honestly... I'm a bit scared to do part 2, because I wonder if the back will ever look this good again.
10. I cut my donor area with a NUMBER 3 Guard... Two pics below. The second is a super close up that required the camera's macro function.

12. I had my procedures done there. He's excellent. Let me know if you have any questions.
13. Thanks Jason, No problem... I hadn't really thought of it as a "hard time" or anything. Just glad everyone prodded me to do a lot of research. I had considered a different, (and cheaper) doc in Thailand before I came here and learned that not all docs are the same. Now I want to go back next summer and have him do the crown... coz I've still got a "B spot" bothering me! LOL!
14. Thank you for all of the comments! Yes, several people have made comments on it, but they either think: 1. I lost weight or 2. I dyed my hair. (uh, Joe, I had no hair... remember?) It's obviously not a toupee, and people can't figure out that it is a transplant. I think they just don't have a mental schema for hair growing back once it's gone, so their mind picks up something familiar to account for the difference (like the above). For some reason no one has guessed Propecia yet...
15. Until I have a chance to update my blog...here are some before and after pics...
16. LOL... No, but I work in Asia every summer and spend most of the summer there. I went there because he has a great reputation as perhaps the best doc in Asia (he does most of the TV personalities over there) and because he charges about $2.10 per graft. My 3300 grafts cost $7000
17. The hair is clipped at #5 two days prior. I wish I could get the higher res version up somewhere. You still can't see any scar line, but it's even more impressive because it's more clear and larger. Youtube shrunk it and seems to have compressed it some.
18. This is my donor area approximately seven months after my surgery. Surgery date: July 18, 2007 Video date: February 24, 2008 YouTube severely reduced the resolution. If someone can give me a place to upload a higher res video, please let me know. (I tried veoh, but it doesn't work. That site obviously needs some work.)

20. Good idea... I'm uploading it now.
